I'm more than satisfied with my FMcup. Previously, I had a Belkin TuneBase w/clear scan & it doesn't even come close to the McCally product. The TuneBase sounded like a weak fm station at best & the FMcup is pretty close to cd quality. In my old car, I had my ipod hooked directly up to the back of my stereo & the FMcup comes pretty close to that sound.Customer Review: It really works!!!

It actually does what it says. If you find a station that is mostly static, pick the same number on the transmitter, and it will play your songs with radio quality. You may have to switch stations at some point during your trip, but it is easy to do. It works with the iPhone in airplane mode (it works in phone mode, but not as well) and the iPod Touch.Customer Review: Easy listening

I absolutely love this product. It is so easy to use and installation is practically nothing. You place the cup in your cupholder , plug the cord into your cigarette lighter outlet, and you're ready to listen to your ipod! I searched and searched for a quality transmitter for my new Ipod Nano. I'm glad I spent the extra money because this is a great product. The sound quality sounds like you are listening to a CD, not the radio. The convenient holder fits into even the smallest cup holder. After much research on the web, this unit got the best reviews. I can say from personal experience that it's performance is worthy of those praises. I replaced a $100 Monster FM transmitter that was horrible. This unit was 1/3 the price and outperforms my previous unit 10 times over. Can't go wrong with this one!
