I bought this item to replace an FM transimitter that i already had - it actually worked perfectly but because of where the car adapter is in my vehicle it just wasn't working out... the selling feature for this one was the cup holder style - IT'S GREAT. Works just as well as the DLO model that I originally had, and my iPod Touch actually fits better in this one than my 80G iPod or iPod Touch ever fit in the DLO... Black Ipod Docking Station (Full Channel Transmitter and Charger For iPod) I got it from the box, took it to my car with my iPod connected, I then pulse the three butons: on/off, Play button, and autosearch one, put my FM radio on that frequency, and it was all. Nice sound, not as good as the one of the Klipsch amplifier I have at my place, but good enough to listen my music on the go. 5 startsCustomer Review: 99% excellent

I've had the unit in a 2005 Tucson for about a month. So far
it has performed very well. Once had a static problem, which was
caused by Hi-power lines (all FM/AM radios have a problem there.)
Once had a bleedover from adjacent car using similar device (I believe).
Changed the frequency and have not had a problem since.
Cons - power cable is 6 inches too short for some situations, display
should be flat instead of angled.

I had no idea what to expect with this item. There are so many different items to choose from when looking for a transmitter for the ipod. This transmitter works wonderfully. Even if the station I chose comes in a little, you can't hear it over the ipod. The sound is so clear and it is so easy to use. I will recommend this item to anyone looking for an ipod transmitter. I have had several FM Transmitters and had almost given up. Then I tried the Macally transmitter and fell in love. Let's put it this way: your iPod doesn't slide around your car, it is easily accessible, and on a 200 mile road trip I only had to change stations once! I almost never have static and like I said, rarely have to change the frequency. This product is a great value and I would absolutely buy it again.
