I have had the standard charger for three years. It works. It also works in Europe with a plug adapter . No transformer needed.
This tip does not work on the iPad . It fits perfectly but only works on the iPods and a few phones. Check the other reviews.
iPad requires another transformer. Be careful.

Bought one of these expecting it to work with an Ipad - it does not. iPad shows no charging. A133 does not provide sufficient current. Found an A61, which DOES work. RS no longer carries A61 and iGo web site doesn't even list the iPad (doh!)...Customer Review: Great when it works.

At first I tried this tip with my iPhone 3GS through the splitter and it did not work. But, I removed the splitter and connected the tip directly, and voila, success.Customer Review: works with 3g?

Generally I'm a fan of iGo stuff, but be careful if you have a 3G
