Customer Review: Great product, but remember to warm the plastic in winter

I lost the GPS mount that came with the TomTom; that promoted me to search for a new mount.
I started using this mount since 2010 summer, and it made my driving during summer trips so much more enjoyable. No matter how the car is bouncing around on those uneven road, this mount still hold up, and never fall off my windshield. Then, winter came, and I almost throw this mount out of my window, as no matter what I did, it kept falling off. Then, I had to grep this mount under my seat as I stilled needed it, and again tried to mount it on the windshield. That was crazy and very dangerous. Before I actually throw this away out of anger and frustration, I came across some tips online saying that you have to warm the plastic for suction part so that it can stick to the windshield. I tried and that WORKED!!! I'm so happy that I got that tips before I throw away such a good mount.
