Customer Review: almost perfect & much better than expected

I probably spent as much time reading reviews and deciding on a cover as I did deciding which e-book reader to order. It was well-spent time. The leather M-Edge Prodigy...
Pros: fits the Kindle well in general, is attractive and durable, despite much ado over odors I can only smell it when I sniff it up close and then it smells like fine leather, all the buttons and connectors are readily available yet protected since the cover is a bit larger than the Kindle, the inside is soft split (I think) leather and very soft on hands and Kindle, reading my Kindle in this cover is more comfortable that I expected, the cover protects the Kindle well. It would take really rough treatment to harm a Kindle in this cover.
Cons: The cover is secured well enough but one corner-bungee-loop slides off now and then (doesn't jeopardize the Kindle). Though the leather tongue is adequate to secure the case closed, I'd rather have a Velcro closure. I suppose the Velcro might seem low prole to some. This is probably not a `con', just my preference.
I am happy with my M-Edge Prodigy jacket.
Whatever protection you get is probably not as important as getting something. Even a silicone cover and a screen protector, such as the $10 [[ASIN:B00270Y0YS Amazon Kindle 2 E-Book Reader Silicone Rubber Skin Case + Kindle2 Anti Scratch LCD Screen Protector - 9 Color Choices]], would provide substantial protection from being dropped or scratched. The M-Edge Prodigy jacket will provide a lot of protection.
