Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech diNovo Mini

Customer Review: Sweet sweet accessory!
Summary: 5 Stars

I must say this is the most I've ever spent on an accessory. When I received the it, I was so surprised just from how fancy the box and packaging was! That really shows the quality.
I have a HTPC setup and it works great from the couch. Everything is plug and play without the need to install any software. Just plug the USB bluetooth, let Windows install it and you're ready to go. Used it to run Vista Media Center and it works very smoothly. The mouse touchpad took a little bit to get used to, but it feels similar to the touchpads on laptops, just a little smaller and on a round shape rather than rectangular.

I probably should have waited for the price to go down, but this is one of those rare times where I made a sudden purchase and didn't regret it. I hope Logitech makes more neat accessories like this and that other companies notice and follow suit.

Customer Review: diNovo mini key combinations for PS3 browser
Summary: 5 Stars

The following diNovo mini key combinations worked for me in the PS3 browser:

X = OK (aka Left Mouse Click) -or- Center ClickPad -or- ENTER -or- Play/Pause
/\ = FN+OK (aka Right Mouse Click)
O = Stop -or- FN+TAB (aka ESC)
PS = Windows button -or- Other button (that is underneath ENTER)
L1 for Back = ALT+Rewind -or- ALT+Left ClickPad -or- BACK
R1 for Forward = ALT+FastForward -or- ALT+Right ClickPad
L2 for Previous Window = CTRL+Rewind -or- CTRL+Left ClickPad
R2 for Next Window = CTRL+FastForward -or- CTRL+Right ClickPad

I haven't found key combinations for the following which means you have to use the right mouse click to see the contextual menu and invoke the equivalent functions:
[]
L3 for Window List
R3 for Zoom
Select for Bookmarks
Start for Address Entry

Customer Review: Do thumbthing!
Summary: 5 Stars

It's hard to imagine using my media PC without this little doodad. It does everything that it's supposed to do, and does it well. Bluetooth range is great. The USB receiver stick is in the back of the PC case in a cabinet, and this thing still reaches into the next room.

Great ergonomics, and the layout is fine once you get used to it. If you can text on a QWERTY phone, you'll be right at home. No problem web surfing, and Media Center is a no-brainer.

A little pricey, yes, but IMO worth every penny.

My only wish: That is also had an IR out so I could control the TV with it too. Maybe they'll make a little IR blaster that plugs in on the PC side, so you can have Bluetooth control of all you devices. Hey, how about it, Logitech?

Customer Review: Media center control in your palm
Summary: 5 Stars

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
What can I say other than this little device is great? You can sit back in bed, watch movies or anything you have on your computer on the big screen and manipulate your entertainment without having to run to your desk and keyboard. This is tiny in person but so far I am thoroughly enjoying it, easy to set up and use, its almost like a remote control with keyboard features.

Highly recommended for those who are thinking of it but are reluctant to spend money on another gadget, you will use it for sure.

Customer Review: I like it. It works for the application I purchased it for.
Summary: 5 Stars

I re-purposed a home entertainment laptop to of all things home entertainment. I used it as a business machine for 2 years. The HP DV6747NR came with a remote but operating Web video sites in Firefox, audio and video in Itunes, or HULU Desktop, was difficult with the factory remote. The remote was adequate for Windows Media Player and Windows Media Center - but there is a dearth of content for the Windows Media products.

This Logitech diNovo Mini remote keyboard allows me to do 99.9% of what I want on the TV from the couch. Only about 0.1% of the time am I forced off the couch to the keyboard.

I plan to try Boxee as soon as it is released in a finished build - not alpha, beta, test, etc.

This keyboard worked for me.
