Frankly I was expecting much lower quality and sound when I ordered these. However, I COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED!! GREAT price, great sound and features. The front and back of these speakers are high quality, well made. The sound is excellent, great base! The front of the main speaker has an on-off button which is very handy. Also there is a knob for sound intensity (base etc.). I use this in addition to my computer equalizer and the sound is just superb. You can connect external headphones and MP3\Ipod directly into the front of the main speaker. They look great and sound great! I would order these again in a New York minute and highly recommend them!Customer Review: Good value

These are really great speakers for the price. I own a set of Klipsch 2.1 that I wanted to replace (subwoofer won't fit new desk set up, and the Klipsch draw a constant 20 watts even when not in use), and these were not a big compromise. Obviously, these speakers are not going to win any awards from audiophiles, but they are much better than your average sub $50 or even sub $100 computer speakers. Big thanks to Logitech for putting the transformer inside one of the speakers instead of on the plug.
One negative: Headphone jack on speaker is affected by the tone modifier, but that's not unusual.
Definitely a win, overall.

I was desperately in need of upgrading my old computer speakers and I'm glad I chose the Logitech x-140's. These speakers are great. They are sturdy, look attractive and the sound is very good. I'm not exactly what you would call an audiophile, but I think my ear is pretty sensitive. My jazz, classical and rock mp3's come out sounding full and true. Bass is nice and deep. These speakers are a tremendous value. My only minor quible is the orange LED on light. It's a bit too bright and a little distracting. Otherwise they are perfect for me. I've only had great experiences with Logitch products and highly recommend these.Customer Review: best deal on amazon

I bought these for my computer at work but I am back on the site buying another set for home. There is not anything that I don't like about these speakers. What I do like: they are $26 so they qualify for super saver shipping as a stand along item, they are 2.0 speakers and have incredible sound, the volume controls are right on the front so they are easily accessible. Also, they just have a regular plug meaning that they power converter is inside the speaker so when you turn them off they are off, there is not still a big power box plugged in that is 200 degrees and pulling power at all time. Highly recommended.Customer Review: Awesome!

I bought these speakers because of a lot of good reviews and the low price, because I wanted an inexpensive set of speakers to take to my office and listen to my IPAD. I was so amazed by these speakers, sound quality and appearance that instead I placed in our living room bookshelf and ordered another set for the office. The sound quality and controls are great for my listening preferences, and the volume is more that sufficient to carry the music throughout the whole room. Highly recommend, they perform at least as well if not better than speakers costing much more. These are NOT tiny cube speakers either.
