Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech Wingman Force 3DCustomer Review: Great joystick Summary: 4 Stars
I purchased my first force feedback joystick about 9 months ago. It was a Microsoft Sidewinder 3D. It worked off and on for a few days so I returned it and got this joystick. It has worked perfectly in Windows 98, ME, and XP. The forces make flight simming much more fun. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't have as precise movement and centering as a non-force joystick. This is true with both of the force feedback joysticks I have used, though.
Customer Review: Force Feedback Rules Summary: 4 Stars
Force Feedback (TM) technology is great. This thing does kick like a mule. It is no doubt a good joystic. But you only really truly in need of a joystick for flight simulators and air combats. Since I am not really into this, I do not enjoy this product as much as a true enthusiast probably would. Also, do follow the instructions and install the softeare before you plug the joystick into the USB port, otherwise it may not work properly.
Customer Review: A Good Joystick Summary: 4 Stars
I own one of these, so I can tell you that they work well. It is kind of expensive but definetly a good buy. I do not know what other people are looking for in a joystick. I like simple controls, and that is what this one has. The only bad thing is how it twists. It can be very confusing but you can always deactivate it. The only reasons it is 4 stars and not 5 is the price. But if you have the money, I would recomend it.
Customer Review: Good joystick for the price Summary: 4 Stars
This is a good joystick for the price. I bought the Logitech Wingman Force 3D because the price of the Microsoft sidewinder scared me away. However, I wish I would have seen the Logitech WingMan Force before buying. While the Force 3d worked just fine, but the Wingman Force felt better in my hand and was in general more comfortable. Both are good, it just depends on your wallet
Customer Review: Full of Forcelike Goodness Summary: 4 Stars
The predominant problem with force feedback sticks is that they don't have the lovely center snap that other sticks do. The jarring motion is nice, but even with the force center turned on, control can be loose at best. That said, of the FF sticks I've tried, this is the best. It's comfortable, durable, easy to configure. Good stuff.
