Customer Review: A TYPIST LOVES IT!

I am a typist and computer keyboards aren't always the right "feel" to speed type. This one is, I'm happy to say! There's just the right "dip" in each key to make touch typing very accurate. It's impossible to speed type on flat keys like you find on laptops and some keyboards. If you work on your computer, not just play on it, you'll love this simple, functional keyboard!

*Quiet keys, spacebar slightly noisy but won't wake anyone and you'll get used to it.
*No fancy buttons, wheels or whistles. Standard key placement so nothing new to learn.Standard ESC and F buttons across the top, calculator pad to the right.
*Caps Lock light, Number Lock light and one light I have no way of knowing what it is. No instructions come in the box.
*Plug into PC and you're ready to type. No software to install.
*Two rubber feet in front to prevent sliding & 2 flip-down feet in back which raisesthe keyboard 1/4". (I added 2 double strips of mousepad material which raised the back 1/2" for a perfect feel)
*It measures 18.25"wide x 7.25"Deep x 1"High from my desk to the top of the keys.
*Wired, PS/2 connection, works on Windows Vista/2000/XP. (I'm on XP Pro so can't verify Vista)
*3 year warranty (Made In China, unfortunately)
I love this keyboard! It's light weight but doesn't feel cheaply made. I want to remain "wired" and I love the PS/2 connection that leaves USB ports open for other equipment. Since technology is trying to phase out "wired" and push "wireless" down my throat, I've begun stocking up on "wired" equipment. I refuse to add MORE batteries to the landfills to saturate the earth!!! If all of this sounds good to you, I suggest you buy fast because, like always, this model is being discontinued. Why do companies make good products, then discontinue them? Do we HAVE to have a new MODEL every 6 months? I'd love to see technology just STOP....for at least a few years. Let us all enjoy keeping our hard earned paychecks for a while. I hope some of my information helped you to make a decision.
