Customer Review: Great little travel BT mouse
Summary: 5 Stars

I have Dell D630 with blue tooth and in the past have used a Microsoft blue tooth mouse but gave up a few months ago as the response was getting very sluggish and the batteries were being eaten up at an alarming rate not to mention the mouse was a little big to lug around on trips.

I had almost given up on BT and was thinking of going back to either RF or wired. Then i saw the Logitech V470, read a number of the reviews and decided to give BT one more try. I was not disappointed! The set up was a breeze, installed the set point software, activated the blue tooth pairing, it paired very quickly and has not in 3 weeks unpaired once.

The mouse is very comfortable to use, fairly accurate, and works great on a number of surfaces. I have not had any latency issues - wakes up a lot more quickly that the MS mouse and has a very convenient off switch to save batteries while travelling.

Overall so far I am very happy with this Logitech BT mouse.

Customer Review: Great Mouse
Summary: 5 Stars

This mouse works perfect buttons feels nice scroll wheel very nice and has a very good feel, as far as the fist review install the software will fix the scroll, speed is adjustable left and right separately, it was very slow before installing the software. I am using it on a MacBook and it has the best mouse software I have ever seen for a mouse on a Mac. I did try is on a vista box no probs also works on Suse Linux and Red Hat as well. This is by far the best mobile mouse I have ever used. I will report on the battery life when they die.

I put the duracells standard alkaline batteries in Oct 9th It is now Dec 11th and the replace batteries light just started flashing. I have not turned the mouse off once. Better than fooling with recharging all the time. Not very Green safe but much easier as a completely mobile user. Installing software is not necessary for any operating system but it does give you lots of nice features, and side scroll works better

Customer Review: Highly Reliable and Works Everywhere but Beware with Win 7!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have had this for nine months and just ordered a second for a new laptop. It installs quickly, has great battery life, feels just fine and have had no problems. In contrast I have a Microsoft Bluetooth model which eats batteries at a rate I have never seen before and never seems to connect. I have begun to move to Logitech equipment because of the reliability. I would recommend this one highly.

There is one problem, however. It requires an change in drivers for Windows 7. You must go to the Logitech site and get the upgrade. However I did that with a new Windows 7 64 bit machine.

After 3 hours and a few hundred dollars with Dell SW support in Bombay, it turns out that the drivers for the 64 bit Win 7 OS wiped out my Registry. Not a nice thing. Thus I suggest staying away from any of the software downloaded from their web site for any high end machine. It worked on XP, it even worked on Win 7 32 bit, bit it destroyed a brand new Dell Win 7 64 bit.

Customer Review: Blue Logitech V470Bluetooth Laser Cordless MOuse
Summary: 5 Stars

This was a gift for a friend I was updating to modern times when he opened his new business. I have a wireless mouse and love it, but I wanted to get a wireless desktop set (mouse+keyboard on one usb receiver) but the styles available are all basic looking and boring! So I opted for a wireless keyboard and to minimize the usb port usage a bluetooth mouse. I was extremely hesitant bc although the mouse looks cool I wanted it to work too! (He is traditional and it would be the one and only impression with cordless technology!) Bluetooth tech is rumored to be quirky with mice, but not this mouse. He is happy with it and (so far) it acts like his old regular cord mouse did. The one thing that surprised me is that it's a much darker blue than in the image unfortunately. But still now his mouse looks as cool as the shiny electric guitars hanging on the walls of his music business. Stylish convenient and modern- it certainly gives the right message to his customers at checkout!

Customer Review: Great Little Mouse
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this mouse about four months ago, and so far it has served me very well. To begin with, it is a good size: not too small, but still very portable. I powered it up and it connected to my computer straight away, with no issues. I love the fact that it connects with Bluetooth, meaning I don't have to take up another valuable USB slot.

I am very impressed by the durability. I have accidentally dropped this mouse several times, and it still functions just as well as the day I bought it.

There are only two downsides to this mouse. One, it doesn't come with a carrying case, but that's not really a big deal. The other is that it does not track well on ALL surfaces: I have issues using it on black leather couch. Still, 90% of the time the tracking is fine, and if it comes down to it you can always find a book or other surface to use as a mousepad.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this mouse, especially for the price.
