I love this mouse! I was a little bit worried about the fact that it used batteries, but I liked the feature of the button that can turn the mouse off to save battery power. I love the freedom of not having a cord on the mouse. This mouse is ergonomically designed, is small, but not too small, has additional features (e.g. zoom), and the USB connector fits into the base of the mouse for storage. CONS: Bluetooth receiver broke clean in half while attached to laptop (bent like a stick of gum!)! Most likely due to placing it in laptop bag with receiver still attached.
PROS: Excellent battery life, range, optical performance/response, ergonomics, size, style, value.
BOTTOM LINE: Always *stow* your receiver while you travel *inside* the mouse! Don't leave connected to USB port on computer!

This mouse is just wanted I wanted as far as it does what it advertised to do. I like the ability to turn off the batteries when not in use, and when you put the USB connector in it's place on the back, it automatically shuts off the batteries. That way you have storage for the USB connector and the batteries are saved as well. It is small enough that it fits very nicely in my laptop case when traveling with it.Customer Review: I love this mouse!

The first mouse I ever loved! This is a great mouse for a notebook. It is small yet very comfortable in the hand. The USB plug is also small. It works beautifully even on uneven surfaces (like my couch). I'm no techie so I don't have the fancy words to use, but it's great! This is my fourth Logitech V series (for laptop) I have purchased. There are obvious reasons: the mouse is easy for all to use immediately upon plug up, fast acting. its size (not too bulky, nor smallish for big hands) is fabulous for laptop, and the snap-on/off dongle (tiny receiver) to power (up/down) the mouse is top-notch feature and good thinking by Logitech.
