I bought this mouse to go with my Dell laptop, and I absolutely love it. I love the fact that the usb stick fits in the body of the mouse. and the off button feature on the bottom of the mouse handy too if you want turn it off but come back to it later. Logitech is on of my most trusted brands and I have never had a problem with any of their products. I have even dropped it a few times (clumsy!) and it still works fine.
there are a ton of optical mice to choose from but I say for the price the quality is outstanding. plug and play! and the battery life is amazing (two AA batteries) I have had this mouse for almost 2 years and I have only had to change the batteries once so far and I use it every day! I am even considering buying another one for my asus eee pc! I say pick this mouse! you wont be sorry!

I had a Microsoft notebook mouse, but the receiver broke. When looking for replacement, I found this item and with such a good price I sprung for it. It is extremely responsive, and has very convenient slot for the receiver on the bottom of the mouse. Software can be downloaded from the Logitech web site (fewer cd's to clutter up my office). It is a quite small for a large hand, but the design seems to make it feel fine in mine. The receiver is about half the size of my previous mouse, which makes it protrude a lot less from the side of my notebook, and less likely to snag on something when moving your laptop with receiver in place.. The size makes it a good fit for most notebook bags. And best of all, you can't go wrong with Logitech.Customer Review: Upgrade

My last mouse died after about 5 years So I decided to get another logitech since the first one lasted so long. This mouse is even better the slot for the wireless receiver is great for any time you want to be mobile. sometimes I don't even take my laptop just the mouse and a flash drive. The battery lasts longer than my previous model and the scroll has an added side to side scrolling feature. the mouse works on most surfaces including my couch and since it uses invisible optics I don't blind people across the room when picking it up. Another great logitech Product.
One note I Recommend finding a mouse that fits comfortably in your hand this one is perfect for me but would likely be uncomfortable for someone with large hands.

A little cordless mouse, with big mouse features. Great for use with a laptop computer. I especially like the on/off switch Logitec thoughtfully provided on the bottom. Conversely, on Microsoft's little mouse, it is necessary to remove the receiver from USB port, and then insert it into the bottom of the mouse - what a kludge - just to turn off the mouse. Also, the Logitec left-right mouse buttons are much smoother in both touch and action than the Microsoft equivalent. The Logitec mouse uses two AAA batteries. Overall operation is very smooth. Note: guys with big hands, like me, might find the right-mouse button a little on the light side - I sometimes accidentally click it.Customer Review: Excellent- just what I wanted

Logitech V320 Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks- Grey
Worked fine right out of the box (with Vista). Responsive and ergonomically well-designed. I especially liked the on-off button (on the bottom of the mouse) feature. My old Microsoft mouse required (to shut it off/prolong battery life) removing the receiving unit (from the USB port) and inserting it into a slot on the bottom of the mouse. Additionally, the receiving unit on the Logitech Mouse is compact and unobtrusive, unlike the one on the Microsoft, which was 2X as big. I'm totally pleased with this product!
