have had this mouse for about 9 months, finally had to replace the batteries that came with it (plain looking Phillips, didn't say alkaline). Using good batteries I fully expect to get a full year. Also, storing the tranciever on the bottom of the mouse is a great feature. Not quite full sized but close enough to be very comfortable. This review is in atention of the purchase made at january 2007. Aditionally to all coments said on that oportunity, Amazon solve a trouble with the shipping, because at the first attempt my mouse was lost at nowhere DHL facility. I added this to my home computer as it is in a location that makes a corded mouse difficult. My Microsoft cordless died after one year of working poorly. This is a whole lot better! It is very fast and the scroll wheel actually works as advertised. I would highly recommend this mouse. I don't know how well it works on a laptop but is great on a tower model.Customer Review: exactly what i was looking for

This mouse works like a charm on many surfaces, and from ridiculous distances. Easy to install and use. They must have gotten the message on packaging being tough to work with: mine was super-easy to open b/c of the pre-perforated plastic.
UPDATE: Won't work on tables with clear glass surfaces. Have a book, magazine, etc. handy.

My Logitech Mouse is perfect. I have had no problems at all with it. It works a lot better and faster than the old corded mouse I had on my computer did. If anything happens to the Logitech Mouse I will definitely buy another one. It's the best thing that you could ever buy for your computer. Thank You Very Much.
