I own 2 of these mice, and after several years they still work great (I've had to replace batteries only once). The scroll wheel works not only up-and-down, but also side-to-side, which is a great feature. Great for traveling, or if you have small hands. I've only had 2 minor problems: 1)when I first plugged the receiver in the USB port at the back of my PC, the mouse would pause intermittently; as soon as it was plugged into the front, the problem disappeared; 2) one of the mice is matte silver and the finish is starting to wear off slightly, so if this bothers you buy the shiny black one.Customer Review: Great catch

I had Kensington mouse before using this one...but it broke in 2 months...I bought it for $50 and thought it must be of good quality but the material was a cheap plastic...Then i bout this Logitech mouse and trust me it works so good...it is heavy because of 2 AA batteries so gives u a good feel and control..also it transmitter is 2.4 GHz which gives it a good range and also it works on all the surface..very high quality of the material and excellent design whcih works both for right handed and left handed person...Its a must buy mouse..not very costly and great value for money...Customer Review: Sweet Mouse

I have owned several Logitech mice and have been very happy with them all. However, this one is even a cut above the rest. It's a breeze to set up. When you plug in the receiver in the USB port it begins working within a second. It's extremely smooth and responsive no matter where the mouse is in relation to the receiver. Others have complained about the little USB receiver coming loose from the mouse after being snapped in - I haven't experienced that at all yet. This Mouse is ideal for use with a laptop; the range isn't the best and items on your desk can block the signal so it's best if you intend to keep it close to the notebook and in clear line of sight but it's very responsive. I like the size. It's a bit smaller than many but I like that since it's matched with my notebook. Can't say enought good about it. I saw great reviews on the red version but like all black myself. This one is good just remember to keep extra AA+ batteries in your laptop case!

Great for small hands. I went through a half a dozen mice until I tried this one. It's great for traveling, and the batteries are still going after 2+ months (I use rechargeables). After going cordless, there is no going back to corded mice! The only quibble I have is the transmitter which supposedly snaps on to the underside of the mouse for travel can fall off - but remedied by a strip of masking tape. Still I give it 5 stars for design, programmable ease of use and long battery life. Highly recommend!
