I didn't know how much I needed a new mouse until I got one. The cord on my ancient Intellimouse drove me insane. I tried all kinds of rigs to anchor the cord so that it would not create that annoying pull while you try to mouse around but nothing worked for long. Now I am FREE!!! This mouse is only slightly smaller than the old one and I use it for my desktop, not for a laptop. The USB transmitter is plugged into the front port of my PC several feet away and the signal comes to the mouse just fine. It is really good looking and moves so smoothly I'm thinking maybe my old one was all pitted or something, maybe just worn down. Anyway, this new mouse is worth every penny. Get it and a compact keyboard and you will be amazed at how comfy you can be at your computer!Customer Review: A jewel of a find.

My Kingston wireless gave out and I found myself suddenly in the market for a new wireless mouse. Of course, Logitech has been for me, the authority. So this product was an automatic sell for me.
What I didn't know at the time was how much of a gem it would turn out to be. I can use it anywhere, on almost any surface, and the best thing of all is that after 4 months, I am still waiting on the 2 supplied Duracell batteries to die.
I miss the thumb button - but that's not something you find on a laptop mouse anyway; and the ergonomics are a little awkward for small hands. The side scroll is one of the best features however and I would recommend this product to anyone - laptop or not.

I just bought myself a laptop for college and knew that tiny touchpad would just not do it for me. So I checked out the reviews here and decided on this Logitech wireless mouse; I don't think any product I've ever bought has so exceeded my expectations. It really does work 10 meters away, but by that point, you can't even see the screen!!! During downtime between classes I can even impress my classmates with how perfect I can control Unreal Tournament or CounterStrike wirelessly... pretty cool. Plug and play, a perfect weight with the batteries, wonderful scrolling, and the usb is small, cool and most importantly, unobtrusive. Look, I needed a mouse, to use the new laptop i got at work, didn't want to go with something fancy so I bought this item used. IT's the first time I tried second handed items and I loved it!... delivery was fast, the item is NEW I had to sit down for 10 minutes looking for evidence to beleive this was used.
Onky thing tho it didn't come with the software, you don't really need one this is plug N play hoever if you're a compulsive customizer like me then you'd just go to logitech website and download it. might take you 10 minutes...
the price for this baby as new is over $60 US, I got mine for 10 plus shipping...

I previously had purchased a different brand of wireless mouse, I can't
recall the brand, but it was awful (battery contacts wouldn't stay in contact
and it was hard to use). I was using my laptop at my brother's house and he
lent me his Logitech V200. It was AWESOME! Just plug in and use!
I went home that nite and looked it up here and saw that others had had
similar experiences, so I bought one. I've had it for about a month now
and love it. The scroll wheel being able to lean left & right for sideways
scrolling is a nifty feature.
I recommend this product highly.
