Received these as a Christmas present, and I must say it's one of the best gifts I receieved. I'm hardly an audiophile and don't know much about speakers or sound system technology, but I do know that these things were a VAST improvement over the tinny, weak sound I had been getting from my built-in laptop speakers. Deep, rich, clear sound with great bass. Like I said, I'm hardly an expert on laptop speakers, but I highly recommend these. I especially like the fact that they plug in via a USB port, and come with their own nifty carrying case. I also have a Logitech webcam I bought a while back- it seems to me that Logitech is becoming my go-to brand when it comes to quality computer accessories. I just received my Logitech V20 speakers and am excited to get them up and running. After hooking them up I was experiencing some mild crackling/distortion sounds coming from the new speakers. However, I was able to figure out why I was experiencing this problem. Go to the CUSTOMER DISCUSSIONS on the Logitech V20 speaker page, where you will find product description, reviews, and customer discussions. After fixing my issue I have found these speakers to be really nice. They are compact, but have great sound and power for their size. I would recommend these speakers to others who are shopping around. They are alittle pricey, but I guess you get what you pay for. Wow, I read a lot of reviews before purchasing these Logitech V20 speakers for my Dad for his birthday. They are easy to set up, and they sound phenomenal with his laptop listening to music. I have powered speakers that I received as a gift several years ago, and I am jealous. If I wasn't such a frugal person I would get rid of them and buy a pair of these instead-MUCH more convenient with the USB. While yes, my powered ones are a little louder, most times that isn't how I listen to it so it's irrelevant. If you just want some great sounding speakers to listen to music through on your laptop, don't hesitate. I was so pleasantly surprised-and got a $20 Logitech rebate to boot! Can't beat it. I have been using the V20 speakers (the same ones) since 2006 and they are going as strong as ever. For the price point, the quality of sound and the sleek looks of these are well worth it. The buttons at the top are a little hard to press but I prefer to use the sound controls of the laptop rather than those on the speakers, which is the reason I gave a 4/5 on ease of use. Overall, the V20 rocks.
I have read some reviews and blogs stating that the speakers stopped working after a while. That is in most of the cases due to some other audio driver interfering with the Logitech USB drivers, all you will need to do is to select the correct audio driver for the V20 to work.

I just got my V20 speakers today and within just a few minutes of receiving them, I had them plugged in and cranking out unbeleivable sound for something as small as they are. I couldn't be more pleased with how incredibly simple they are to connect and have working. Not needing a separate plug for power is a great feature. The control buttons on top are difficult to operate and are very stiff to depress but I can control the sound from my laptop just fine so it presents no problem. The sound quality is better than I expected and for the purpose I purchased them, it is absolutely perfect. I would recommend these great little speakers to anyone in the market. I am very pleased!
