Customer Review: Good Hi nd Mid range, usb powered laptop speakers

First of all, I would say I was really impressed by these speakers. They are definately super performers for this kind of use (designed for laptop, no need for "real" power supply) with such a low cost. I have seen so many reviewers trying compare this speakers with other "powered" ones or even the ones comes with "subwoofer". It's not fair and even though these speakers don't have enough "low range", it does not mean they are not great speakers. Sometimes we expect too much...
As I mentioned, I do believe these speakers do not have enough low range. However the hi and mid range really sound excellent! If you listen to a lot of classic music, and don't care about the low and "subwoofer" effect, you will enjoy them for sure.
Highly recommend this Logitech product!

I've owned that pair of speakers for a bit more than one year. The sound quality of which is (most of the time) amazingly good given the physical size, the price, and being USB-powered. I'm connecting that pair of speakers through an external self-powered USB hub to a notebook PC. I'm not sure whether it's the notebook PC problem (I had changed to another self-powered USB hub already), I found that from time to time that pair of speaker would sound thin and tinny, losing all base and some mid-range. However, when I unplug and plug the speakers to the USB hub - during the PC and USB hub are on and running - all the base and mid-range would come back.
By benefit of double on real cause of that trouble, and that the issue is not big, I'd still give 5 stars.

I'm amazed how good these sound given their size. They really can fill up a room with good sound. I have noticed the issue other reviewers have noted --- the speakers have strong bass and sometimes jiggle across the surface they are on (but I guess that is a good thing and can be easily solved by securing them in place with something). Some complain that since they are USB speakers you can't use them for your Ipod, etc. That's true, but is actually a positive feature for me --- one less wire to worry about, and they are also powered by the USB port, so you don't need to plug them in (save a plug on your power strip!) They are also very portable, and a useful carrying case is even included with them which snugly fits them in for travel. Highly recommended.Customer Review: Excellent portable speakers

What an excellent package! The sound quality is the best I've heard from any portable speakers of this size. The bass is shockingly good - like the other reviews say. Going forward, I'll never again consider the battery operated or power brick options - totally unnecessary. As a bonus, the case for these is really well done and packs them quite efficiently into the size of a hardcover book. These will easily fit into my rolling laptop briefcase. I've been searching for a solution like this so we don't have to use headphones all the time to watch movies on our laptops - hotel rooms, travel, etc. I think these are the perfect solution - and should last - the build quality is excellent and with such a good case, they should last quite a while.Customer Review: Everything I Wanted In Speakers For My Labtop

These speakers produce great sound and are easy to use, just plug them into your USB port. They come with a nice case to carry them or store them with. In my case I use my laptop as an alternative desktop computer, so I don't usually take it anywhere. Therefore I use the case to store the speakers when not needed. The speakers are smaller so that it would not be a problem transporting them along with your computer as long as you had a descent sized bag to carry everything. It is great not having to plug in a separate plug to power the speakers. The speakers are powered through your computer, which will reduce battery time. For the way I use my laptop, almost always plugged in, these speakers are just what I wanted.
