Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech S220 2.1 Speaker System with SubwooferCustomer Review: Excellent Product and a good price too Summary: 5 Stars
I was a little wary of getting this product cos it was priced low and from my past experience with speakers that normally meant a crappy product.
But the sound out of this bad boy is awesome. The sub woofer(or whatever its called) is of course not heavy duty but you wont even notice that because you'll be too busy enjoyin the overall clear sound.
The little volume control dial is very useful 'cos you can place it somewhere close to you and its got headphone and mic jacks built it for those of you who feel like plugging in a headphone/mic combo. For $24.99 and free shipping(cos I bought something else too) and a quick delivery time of 2 days, this was definitely worth the price and time I spent looking around.
A downside to this is the relatively short power cord from the sub woofer. It limits your options as to where to place the actual sub woofer but the wires goin to the two speakers are pretty long.
Customer Review: Extraordinary product, high value Summary: 5 Stars
This computer-speaker outfit was shipped promptly, and from the moment I took the pieces out of the box, I followed the easy-to-follow instructions and made all the connections to my computer. This was done quickly and very easily. I was amazed how easy it was to install this outfit. But then I powered it all up. My Dell Inspiron One computer's tinny little voice (the only drawback in an otherwise excellent computer) became a booming stereo. For the $27 or so that I paid for this thing, it transformed my computer into a superior-voiced stereo system. I still can't believe the technology in this thing. When I ordered it from Amazon, I had ready read the superlative reviews, but they were not exaggerating! This outfit is the real deal, and the value given the price is exraordinary. No, that's not correct. The value, regardless of any price, is extraordinary. And that's not hyperbole. Dr. Richard Beck
Customer Review: Great Speakers! Summary: 5 Stars
I just got my speakers today and I'm absolutely impressed and stand in awe of the quality of sound. The output is somewhat similar to my $2500 entertainment center speakers (I'm not kidding). I'm no audio expert but I know quality when I hear it and these speakers deliver. The best part is the PRICE! You get so much for so little; it is worth the "sacrifice" of $25 or better yet the "steal" for $25. For some of us, $25 is 1/4 of the price of gas going into our SUVs.
One last thing my wife listened to the speakers and she had to agree they were the best speakers she had heard in a long time for a computer. Hey, if my wife enjoys them they got to be good because she isn't a "gadget" person like her geeky husband. She's honest with a good ear for music.
Buy them and enjoy them, I am! Music from your laptop (MacBook Pro) will never sound the same again; I promise!

Customer Review: NO F'N WAY!!! THAT SOUND IS FROM THOSE??? WOW!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I was gonna send these back because i had them plugged into my tvs earphone plug and had to crank my tv up all the way to get some decent volume out of these. (check your tv audio output watts)
after listening to the way they sounded for a couple minutes and tryin different programming through them, i decided that this is now my tv audio source! i still shake my head in amazement! Sometimes i forget i'm not listening through my surround sound receiver! you will not win any window rattling contests with this system, but if you want a better sound for your lcd tv, wanna give your surround system the day off but keep amazing (stereo)sound, these are perfect! they give such a great illusion of a sound field with crystal highs and thick, tight bass. they match any glossy black tv.
the price could come down a little on these which would make them a top deal.
DO IT!!!
Customer Review: Amazing sound, too many wires Summary: 5 Stars
The sound is absolutely incredible! I connected it to my Mac and then my ipod and both fill up my entire house with no diminish in quality despite the speakers and subwoofer being tiny. The downside is that there are just too many wires. When I opened the package I was concerned because there are two 3.5mm jacks. I have 5.1 logitech speakers but they require three ports into the computer and my new Mac just has one headphone jack. After testing the speakers and reading the manual I discovered that the 2nd 3.5mm jack is for the microphone functionality of it. I guess it's nice if you use mics but otherwise it's just another loose plug. The speakers look decent, not great. In fact they even look and feel a little cheap, which is partly why I was so impressed by the sound. Anyway, I still give these speakers a 5 out of 5 because the most important thing is sound, which it does amazingly.
