These speakers are very good for the price... However, if you can spare another $10 for computer speakers around $20, their sound quality is infinitely better than these speakers. They sound more like a sound system than these PC speakers. But if you can only spare $10-$12, then these are the best speakers for you.
I use them at work, and I have no complaints! They can be fairly loud if you're enjoying music with other people in the office, or they can play music decently even when you turn the volume down very low. The volume control is straightforward, and setup is extremely easy. I'd recommend them for anyone looking for cheapest, yet decent sounding PC speakers.

If you're like me and you don't care about surround sound, you just want something that works, this is perfect. My computer sounds great, dvds, and it works with my ipod. I bought $40 speakers in the past that came with a huge black box that took up space, and then there was a warning that it was not magnetically protected or something and could erase my hard drive. Why would anyone make speakers like that? These are small, convenient and sound good enough for me, especially for the price.
I can't believe I haven't been able to find anything like this at computer stores... Just what I was looking for and so much more affordable than I expected.

These speakers are great for use with laptops, which often come with underpowered speakers. My laptop's speakers were starting to sound muffled and metallic when turned to it's loudest setting, so I decided to look for some cheap PC speakers. Needless to say, I am very pleased with these speakers as they do a great job when I'm watching videos or listening to music on my laptop.
If you're looking for home theater quality speakers, obviously these aren't going to do the job. However, if you're looking for a cheap replacement for your current computer speakers, I'd have to say that these speakers are worth the price.

These computer speakers both look and sound great! In addition, all cables are attached so there is no danger of - say - loosing the AC adaptor cable. The cables are plenty long enough for me, and the lack of a bulky AC transformer at the plug in (it has a simple two prong AC power connector) makes it easy to plug into tight spaces. My only real quibble is that the red POWER ON L.E.D. is VERY bright, but a small piece of black electrical tape solves that problem <grin>. In some ways I'd have preferred a front mounted volume control and earphone jack, but it wasn't that big a deal. All in all, an excellent value!Customer Review: Good For My Purpose

I bought these cheap (and stylish) speakers to enjoy listening to ESPN radio and WFAN on my Acer 8930 laptop. In this regard, they have performed quite well and met my expectations. Keep in mind that these speakers have no bass and (for this price) are not meant to be used for music. I have a Plantronics Pulsar 590E Stereo Bluetooth Headset for that purpose. The sound of the speakers on my Acer laptop are horrendous. Now I don't have to ever listen to them again.
This is true plug and play. There is no static or interference here. It is well worth the price as long as expectations are kept realistic.
