This is my first ever gamepad for a PC and it sure beats using the keyboard (for gaming). This USB controller is the best on the market for PC gaming. It's very simliar to the PS2 controller. Fits very comfortably in my hands. Logitech did a fantastic job w/ it's ergonomics. Personally, I wish they would've added some color to it by using transparent "jewel" buttons instead of the black. Maybe even make the whole thing transparent (like some PS2/XBOX controllers). It has a steel blueish metallic finish. Great price point, I got mine for 23 & change. WIN98,2000,Me, & XP, Mac OS X (v10.2.3+).... no "rumble" feature w/ macs

I like this gamepad a lot. It's got a very solid feel. I'm using it with emulator games on my pc, like snes, n64, etc. Everything feels right on it, and installation was easy (just plugged it in). It feels very similar to a Playstation 2 controller (and similar control layout) but feels thicker, and the ergonomics are better (the surface material has a very nice texture and seems to fight hand sweating). Rumble feature works well if your game supports it. Looks slick too. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a good gamepad.Customer Review: Good controller, good price

Simply put, it's a good controller for a good price. I've only had the controller a couple weeks, but it seems to have a solid construction. It works well with Windows 7. Buttons are easy to press and the dpad is good. It's basically just like the old PS2 controllers. The only thing I don't like much is the analog sticks; the case around them is square instead of circular like the Playstation controller. This controller works really well with emulators. Very slight lag, but it's so small that it doesn't take much to get used to.Customer Review: Nice Game Pad

I bought this gamepad for $20 at gamestop, I'd recommend you buy it there, rather than pay more on amazon. Basically, I bought it, plugged it in and started playing immediately--no downloads, installation or anything else. I bought this so I can play Madden 08 on my Macbook Pro. I'm running the PC version in bootcamp and it's seamless. I'd recommend this pad for anyone who wants to use a pad instead of the keyboard for games. If you're used to the PS2/3 then, it takes no getting used to. It's exactly the same. Great buy!Customer Review: exactly what i was wanting

this is not the 'ultimate gaming controller' but that wasn't what i was looking for and the price clearly indicates that. i simply wanted a control that i could use for most of my games to save my keyboard from getting messed up. and this does exactly that...it's a perfectly shaped and responsive control with vibration capabilities. very easy to just plug into your usb port and you'll be playing a couple of seconds later...no hassle...great purchase...well worth the money.
