I have been very happy with this camera. In fact, I was so pleased with it, I bought a second one for my daughter in college, so we can keep in touch by video. She and I both have laptops, and I have Skyped with her while on the road, in my office, wherever. (I have never tried Yahoo or the other services - Skype has been so good I've never been tempted).
I also use it with a colleague who works remotely. If you are a remote worker, and plan to use the camera a lot for professional meetings, you might want to step up to the next higher Logitech camera, which has some nice zoom and auto-pan features. My co-worker has that one and it makes the video much more engaging.
This camera, however, has been perfect for my needs. Thumbs up!

This is a great little web cam that I primarily use for Skype Video calls. When one uses Skype, one can not only see the other person's video but their own. Nine out of ten times, my video quality is superior. The web cam shoots live video, records video on your hard drive, or takes a snap shot. Installation is easy. There is nothing that I do not like about the camera. In addition to all the automatic bells and whistles of the web cam, the lens can be manually focused for fine tuning. The only hitch that I have had is figuring out that the base of the web cam spreads toward its back so that it will fit on my laptop. I have a Lenovo T61 and it is somewhat of a tight fit and I'm somewhat of a Klutz which doesn't make for easy installation.Customer Review: Perfect!

I love this thing! I read at least 2 pages of these reviews before purchasing and they're mostly right. Some people mentioned having sound issues but mine has worked fine. Set up was a breeze! Just put the CD in and it installs itself. A lot of people complained about the clip but it's really not a problem at all. The back part of the clip can be pulled out to fit over the top of the lap top. There's a little piece of rubber that fits around the backside of the clip to hold it in place. I have a Dell latitude D630 and it fits perfectly with the rubber thing. The picture is great and the Logitech software is very easy to operate. Great buy for the money! Oh and it works flawlessly with skype! (which is what I wanted it for!)Customer Review: A good webcam

I have been using this webcam for almost a year now with YM, skype etc. I like this camera. The video quality is good and the camera is quite small and fits well on my laptop. It comes with a software which allows you to capture images at different resolutions and also capture videos.
The built-in microphone works, but does not have any noise cancellation. So I do not use the mic in the cam for talking.
You can adjust the focus manually, which is pretty easy to do and takes only seconds. The software also has a face tracking feature which tracks your motion pretty well.
Overall I would say that it is a good buy. I had bought it from Amazon when there was deal for $20.

I purchased 4 of these Logitech 961400-0403 Quickcams for use with friends over Skype because of the price, performance and features. The resolution is very good for VOIP, and the face-tracking and special-effects features of the associated software work as advertised. I initially purchased a Logitech Orbcam for significantly more but these are so much cheaper with equivalent performance for VoIP that I would choose these any day.
Possible improvements:
1. Although the form factor is for Laptops, a wider mounting clamp for desktop LCD monitors would improve its usage. I had to fabricate one for my desktop.
2. A side-to-side swivel mount would also improve its usage.
