its a great cam just to use and call your friends with, but its not the greatest quality. This cam works pretty well. Sometimes the picture quality isn't perfect and there is a delay or freeze, but that could be the instant messengers or internet, too. Happy with my purchase, and very happy with Amazon price.Customer Review: Good camera

This is a good, serviceable camera with decent quality images -- much better than the Logitech QuickCam Chat, which I also purchased. I am returning the QuickCam Chat and keeping the Quickcam for Notebooks for my son.Customer Review: Well worth the money

I bought this for my desktop but tested this on my laptop to compare the quality.
Mic quality was better than my laptop and video quality was nt bad for 1.3 MP.
Worth the money.

I just needed a simple webcam to communicate with family and friends! It does its job and has a clear picture! People have trouble hearing me sometimes so I don't know if that is from the webcam.
