Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech Premium Notebook HeadsetCustomer Review: works like a charm Summary: 5 Stars
The product surprised me a bit, as i had never used a horizontal headset. Going around the sides of my head feels weird, but I got used to it. The microphone and headset quality is acceptable for most tasks, although i use a bulkier Logitech set for watching movies and other things requiring the highest quality. That bigger Logitech set and almost every other didn't work on all my apps on Vista, but this new one works fine. The reason is that it uses a microphone and headset jack, instead of usb. Almost everything supports those, so its great for gaming, voice calls, etc. Overall, definitely worth the pittance i paid for it. ;)
Customer Review: The Best Headset Yet Summary: 5 Stars
This is the most comfortable headset I've owned, and while I haven't tried wearing it for hours, I think it'd be just fine.
When using this headset on Skype, sound quality on transmit and receive is excellent. And the great thing about a USB headset is, you can configure Skype to pipe call audio to the headset, but pipe phone rings to your speaker, eliminating the need for an audio switch.
I can't vouch for how good these things sound when playing music; that's not what I'm using them for. But if you want a good headset for Skype or a similar online service, these fill the bill nicely.
Customer Review: Ideal for Travel Summary: 5 Stars
I needed a headset and microphone for travel out of the country to use for Skype calls. Size and weight were a strong consideration, as was functionality. Having two ways to plug the set in was a strong part of that functionality, since I have had some problems with the basic sound/mic jacks not working and then needing a USB hookup. This set has both, which virtually guarantees that they will always work, even if my computer is not working properly. Anyway, this set meets my needs perfectly and the quality is very good. I won't travel without it.
Customer Review: Great sound, clear conversation exceeded expectation Summary: 5 Stars
In a recent overseas trip, I have ths headset with me. When my cell phone did not work overseas, I use this with gizmo5 software to call people around world from a netbook.
People on the other side all told me the sound was very clear, just like I was calling from the same town.
The headset comes with a plastic box. The noise cancellation microphone can be folded. It comes with a USB sound adapter, but can directly plug into headphone and microphone sockets on the netbook (or any computer).
Highly recommended.
Customer Review: Not sure it is worth the premium BUT then again Summary: 5 Stars
Kind of expensive for what is basically a microphone and headset BUT...it works GREAT (I use the USB connection)...it is very comfortable and sturdy...and the carrying case comes in really handy.
I would say probably worth it for anyone that spends a LOT of time making calls/voice chat on their computer.
Also a minor plus...the nice behind the head band (as opposed to over the top of the head) DOESNT mess up your hair!!! lol
Kind of pricey for a headset, but ultimately worth it if you can afford it.
