Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech Premium Notebook Headset

Customer Review: Excellent Technology
Summary: 5 Stars

These are a really nice piece of technology, and not limited to Notebooks. I picked them up because the GE set I was using crapped out on me, all kinds of static. It was the right pick, because they're sturdy and well designed.

I use them for IP Telephony and they are really nice. The mic is clear, very little static, and I like the adjustable earpieces.

The mini jacks and USB connections are really nice - in case you happen to blow out your sound card jacks.

The fact that they are foldable, is just a bonus. The carrying case is great if you travel.

Mute and volume adjustment on the wire pod and no static interference when you make adjustments or switch the mic on and off. They are quite comfortable, and you can still hear ambient sounds if you need to.

Customer Review: Good sound, great mic, nice case but hurts after about 90 minutes
Summary: 5 Stars

The sound is decent for a $50 pair of headphones, but I agree it is not a set for an audiophile willing to pay $200+. Mic sounds great to others (plugged in direct, have never used the usb dongle). It definately does something to help the system out. I talked on skype at a busy coffee shop numerous times and the other end heard a bit of background noise, nothing annoying and my voice was clear. The earpieces are adjustable "up and down, and in and out", but due to their size rest on the ear, so after a while they get uncomfortable. To fit in the case the ear pieces turn 90 degrees. The case for me is HUGE (that is why I bought them). I have packed and abused the bag and still are great. Others give a pouch, if anything and I have broken things unfortunately. I doubt I will break this in my bag.

Customer Review: Works great
Summary: 5 Stars

My goal was to be able to find a headset that can be used with windows down and sunroof open (and eventually with a convertible which i'm thinking about) and with my PC. I also bought an adapter to use with my iPhone. Don't know for a fact that a bluetooth couldn't do it, but my thought was i'd need some sort of headset with a boom which would be closer to my mouth. This headset seems to work great with the sunroof open and windows down (as long as the wind isn't blowing directly into the microphone). I tested by using the Sound Recorder on the iPhone. This headset also lets you turn one of the earpads off one ear (it's actually against the law to cover both ears). Makes me look like a geek in the car, but oh well...wouldn't be the first time.

Customer Review: Excellent travel headset.
Summary: 5 Stars

Pros
Excellent USB sound quality, comfortable, easy to travel with.

Cons
Sound quality for the non-USB connection (mic/earphone) is horrific.

I purchased this headset a couple of years ago and the sound quality has been terrific, but only if you use the included USB hookup. I first attempted to use the mic/earphone hookup and the sound quality was terrible.

The headset is comfortable, even when used for an extended period of time. And the traveling case is a definite plus, especially since I travel constantly. The headset folds nicely into it. One caveat: do not place in checked-in luggage; I had mine stolen when traveling internationally and had to buy a new one. Always carry-on!

Customer Review: Great Headset
Summary: 5 Stars

The Good stuff:

This is great headset. I have tried the headset with skype and my company soft phone...it works great. I have also made calls to work, home, other cell phones and have no issues. Listening to streaming music is also great too.

Comfort: I can keep it on all day long at work. No discomfort at all.

The so so bad stuff:

The case is rather big, however, there is barely any headsets out there that actually has a case. Very useful when traveling.

The volume has to be adjusted a little higher versus the plantronics headsets. I like it that way so I don't get caught off guard by the windows beep or outlook alarms.
