Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech Precision GamepadCustomer Review: Sometimes the Best Things are the Cheapest Summary: 5 Stars
No matter how good a keyboard is, sometimes games demand controllers. And there's hardly a better or simpler controller than the Logitech Precision. It's cheap, it's comfortable, it lasts well and is super-easy to set up.
A USB drive on your computer is all this gadget needs for you to start gaming. The controller is light as a feather and fits comfortably into your hands. Your thumbs are usually all you need to navigate the D-pad and the four standard buttons, leaving your other fingers free to operate the four buttons on top of the controller. All in all, there are a whopping 10 buttons on this slim, plastic product, all cleverly labelled with numbers and comfortable to press. The responsiveness is excellent; I have yet to encounter a dud moment where a button won't work when I expect it to. The design makes it possible to emulate a large number of machines, from the NES to the Nintendo 64.
Don't let the price fool you, this is a top-quality product guaranteed to make playing games on your PC even more fun. Not to mention is the design beautiful.
Customer Review: Logitech was very precise on their precision gamepad Summary: 5 Stars
One very big problem I have with every controller ever invented besides the regular nintendo controller is that the control pads are horrible. You'll press down and it'll move down diagonally right or they will be too small and when you go to press a direction you actually hit two directions.
The control pad on the Logitech Precision is state of the art and the controller design is remarkable. The controller has a slick, smooth design that fits comfortably in your hands.
You'd think that a controller with 10 buttons would be cluttered but the Precision has the buttons evenly distributed and allows for many options. I am very impressed by the response of the controller and the versatility it allows with all the buttons.
The Logitech Precision is one of the few complete controllers out there. If you are a fan of the SNES/PS controllers then this is definitly the controller for you.
Customer Review: Perfect Summary: 5 Stars
Wow! This little controller is really great. I've had this controller for over a month now, and use it probobly every day that I can. The design is similar to the origonal Playstation controllers, but, in my opinoin, much better. The buttons are not too mushy, and have a solid "click" to them. The shoulder buttons are good. The d-pad isn't bad, but could be a bit more solid. Still very responsive, though. Cord length is good. Probobly my favorite quality is how durable this thing is. I set it on top of my tower, and it always seems to fall of. Lots. But it still works like it just came out of the box! This thing is practically unbreakable, and works perfectly! I, like many, use it for emulation, and am deeply impressed. It could be configured for every emulator I tried, including ZSNES, Project 64, a PS1 emulator, Fusion, a NES emulator, and many more! Versatile, durable, perfect.
Customer Review: Excellent Pad! Summary: 5 Stars
I didn't have a good history with PC gamepads until I bought the Logitech Precision 2. I tried several different models, only to find that each of them dragged in a specific direction, the buttons didn't function properly, or they didn't work at all. With the Precision 2, I experienced none of this.
I'm not much for the high-end PC games, so I can't speak much for its effectiveness on that front. However, for emulators and other classic games, this is the best choice out there. I'm pleased to report that the name "Precision" was not a broken promise. The pad even performs effectively on fighting games, where you have to input ridiculously long combinations of motions in order to perform the best moves.
Great pad for a great price. I liked mine so much that I bought a second one for my fiancee. You won't go wrong here!
Customer Review: Best Gamepad I've ever used. Summary: 5 Stars
My previous game pad was clunky and unresponsive. I'd play a game that I would normally do well in with no problem using a console controller, and get stomped because the pad was so bad. So I went online, and looked at other options for game pads and came across the Logitech Precision game pad. I read the reviews, and everyone said it was great. And at the low price of ten bucks, I decided to try it out. Let me tell you, this pad is a great way to spend ten bucks if you play games on your computer. The buttons are extremely responsive. In a section of a game I died at least 20 times in before giving up on with my old game pad, I completed it without dying once using the Logitech Precision.
In conclusion, this game pad is definitely worth every penny.
