I'm typing this review using this keyboard. It replaces the wireless Logitech that I had before. I opted to go with a corded key board for two reasons. First, the response time during FPS games and in general seems to be better (this has become less important since my purchase of a Fang Gamepad by Ideazon). The second is that it does not require batteries.
Regardless, it has useful "extra" buttons (some of which are configurable) like Volume control, web browser (plus "back" and "stop"), email, media player controls, and my personal favorite: the calculator (I was getting tired of doing Run... --> calc --> "Enter")
Additionally, the keyboard has configurable "function" buttons similar to a laptop keyboard.

Available and open USB ports come at a premium.
So, if your motherboard has a PS2 port, then use it !
This keyboard fits that purpose perfectly !
Make sure you download and install the latest software from Logitech,
rather than using the provided install disk.
Be sure to close all other operating programs before installation of
the software to insure against glitches.
Contrary to all the other negative reviews that I read before purchase,
I had none of the problems that other users expressed.
This keyboard does everything that anyone could need, and is the best bang
for the bucks. Who could ask for anything more ?
It sure looks and works nicely with the Logitech LX7 USB wireless mouse.
Lastly, another bonus is that the provided 6 foot cord, (rather than the
cheaper OEM keyboards that give you only 4 foot cords) allows you to have
enough length to locate the keyboard at your convenience.

This keyboard is really fast for typing. i love the design and feel. On a regular set keyboard some of the buttons are larger like the enter key or shift key and on the media keyboard there smaller and gets some getting use to. When i started using the keyboard i noticed that some keys were not in the right place and didn't want to work like it should so i readjusted the keys myself and put them in the right spot. All in all my boyfriend loves it, especially the extra features like the email button and the calculator so i'm satisfied.Customer Review: Not quite what I expected

It is a good basic keyboard and performs well with nice features,and versatility for accessing and surfing the internet.
I am also a gamer and this keyboard has problems with assigning keys with certain games. I have never had problems like this with any other board I have owned - from the cheapest wired keyboard to modestly priced wireless of a different brand. Maybe this is unique to my board, but it does present a problem with the way I want to use it.
