I needed a cordless keyboard mouse combo for my Vista powered laptop and saw this on sale at a local retail store. My advice to those buying this product is not to install the software that came with it. Download the latest version of the Setpoint driver (v 3.3 as of this writing) off Logitech's website and install that instead.
The driver allows keys to be remapped to use other than the default settings if you want to customize these. The keyboard feels rubbery at first but I gotten used to it after a few days and I now prefer it. The mouse feels better, works smoother compared to the wireless Microsoft Optical 5000 I have been using on my desktop. I prefer the Logitech's mice scroll wheel operation... you can feel the clicks when you scroll the wheel as opposed to the smooth scrolling of Microsoft's.

This product met my needs exactly. My new computer is a TouchSmart so doesn't really even need a keyboard. However, it came with one that is small and very flat and smooth. Instead, I wanted a keyboard with large keys where each one is easily felt and distinguishable from all the other keys. So, I ordered this Logitech. The wireless part is so neat...makes for much less wire clutter around my work area. Plus, it is very comfortable and so easy to use (feel) that I barely ever use my Touch Screen capability at all! This keyboard works perfectly - and then some - for my needs. I don't regret this purchase at all. In fact, I don't know what I'd do without this particular Logitec keyboard.Customer Review: Very nice . . .

My reasons for purchasing this keyboard and mouse were quite simple. I work from home full time and my desk serves as both my work and home desk and I wanted to be able to share a keyboard and mouse without an annoying KVM switch that might or might not work. The MX3200 Laser has exceeded my expectations. To switch from laptop to home desktop is as easy as unplugging the small SecureConnect USB mini-receiver from one and plugging it in to the other. And because I'm using the desktop receiver stand it has easy access. So, for my money and what I'm using it for I am extremely happy with my purchase. I just bought the MX3200 for a Brand New Dell Desktop with Vista.
The Keyboard and mouse both worked perfectly right out of the box.
I am using it for my T.V. and at a distance of 12 feet they both
work flawlessly. I "DID NOT" however download the drivers from the
disk. I read all the horror stories about the drivers so decided
to forgo the possible headache. I just wanted to write a quick review
for anyone that was on the fence because of all the bad reviews reguarding
Vista issues.....I believe the driver disk is the problem and not the
keyboard or mouse. Bottom line: I LOVE THIS MX3200 DESKTOP!! :)

I purchased this 3 fortnights hence. Very light, user friendly, works great, and looks sheek. The office sk anks respond very well to it. They flock to it like the salmon to the Capistron. And, the pant ies come off, very nicely. Why, my best friend Raul purchased this last month and now he tells me he's starting to chafe on his peter. And, when you got some chick who, unbeknownst to you, is having a not so fresh day, why you can use the mouse as a but plug to eliminate any unsavory odors. I tell you I could never part with my wireless Logitech! 3 fortnights later, I still got wood...
