Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse (Black)

Customer Review: Very Good Mouse
Summary: 4 Stars

I got this mouse as a Christmas present, and been using it for about 4 days now. So Far i like the mouse. The Battery life is very good and the scrolling mech is very good. I did noticed that the mouse is a bit heavy but i think after a few weeks of use i will get used to it. I wish the mouse had more buttons and maybe the option to switch the rechargeable batteries

Customer Review: Great Mouse for Mac and Normal hands
Summary: 5 Stars

So I rarely write reviews on Amazon; however, after having tried the MX Revolution for a few days now, I have to say it is one amazing mouse. I was coming from a wired microsoft mouse, and the first thing I must mention is that the MX Revo has a nice large base and is actually large enough for most normal sized hands. I don't know why....but most "mice" these days are wayy too small for most people. I hadn't realized how much my hand was warped while using my old mouse until I got this one.

Secondly, the mouse works GREAT for the OSX. All the buttons are customizable. I was worried the thumb roller was going to be too sensitive, but it wasn't. It is perfect, with just the right sensitivity.

The main roller on top is AMAZING as well. The switch from click scrolling to fast scrolling is seamless and automatic. You can set it to manual if you want. However, it is great. Some of the older reviews of this mouse mention that this particular feature is not included in the OSX OS. THEY ARE WRONG. All the buttons are functional and great even for the OSX. (you just have to download the software from Logictech's website....no big deal)

This is a great mouse. I am a medical student, and a lot of my study material is online and I'm often on the computer for 8 hours at a time. This mouse makes it a breeze. There is a small learning curve as you get used to accessing all the functionality from your mouse instead of reaching for your keyboard. But wow, you will get super fast. I have spaces, all windows, and desktop shortcutted to my thumb wheel. My roommates are amazed when they see me working. So fast, it almost looks like magic. I can access all my apps and all 16 of my spaces so fast.

Don't regret the purchase one bit. But it. It's great!

Customer Review: Just wonderful
Summary: 5 Stars

I had a previous Logitech MX mouse that went bad on me. I cant complain it lasted 5 years but finally the left mouse click started double clicking.

I purchased this at the beginning of December. I let it charge over night and get about 5-6 days of use before it needs another charge.

It performs very well, all the features mentioned are great. The free or indexed spin of the middle (top) wheel is very nice. It even learns how you like and it automatically switches index vs. free spin when switching programs.

It's got to be the best wireless mouse on the market.

Customer Review: Good mouse...but not great for WoW
Summary: 4 Stars

I bought this mouse with ambitions of using it with World of Warcraft(WoW). I was intrigued by the many buttons available on the mouse, which is why it seemed great for WoW. However, there's some buttons on the mouse that I can't seem to bind keys to. Perhaps it's "operator error", but I'm fairly certain I've tried everything. As far as the design of the mouse, it's flawless. It feels great in the hand, and is surprisingly heavy. I was literally able to plug it in and use it immediately. I have a Dell with Windows XP and no software was required at all. So the summary is this is a great, very comfortable, mouse but I don't recommend it for an individual looking for gaming advantages.

Customer Review: Good mouse
Summary: 4 Stars

This is the second one of this model I've owned. The first quit working after a month, but I liked the hand feel enough to try again. I like the second one. After having a bad experience with one of their keyboards and having to pay double to get a good mouse has changed my feelings toward Logitech. They used to be a dependable supplier of peripherials, maybe not so much any more. Logitech stuff is almost like buying Microsoft hardware these days. So be careful when you buy any of their products.
