Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech MX 510 Performance Optical Gaming Mouse (Red)Customer Review: GREAT MOUSE Summary: 5 Stars
I have owned this mouse for over a year now. My mouse takes a beating, and it still works as good as the day i got it, so that says something good. The mouse itself looks sharp and looks nice on my desk. One thing you may want to invest in is a good mousepad that goes well with the high dpi this mouse provides if you want to get the benifits of it. It has extra buttons on the side and top, and while you may not use them right away, you have the ability to set them to do whatever you want. I personally hate going to work or a friends and not having my nice side buttons to navigate faster. The mx-510 is a high quality product and i find the weight of the mouse to be nice, allthough if u want u can open it and take out the internal weights to make it lighter. 5 Star product!
Customer Review: The Best Summary: 5 Stars
I am a hardcore gamer. I sometimes play games 12 hours at a time. This mouse is excellent for gaming, I have big hands and it fits perfect. It is also beautiful to look at. I use a Func Surface Mouse Pad and usually use teflon tape on my mouse feet. This mouse feels so good I haven't even put any on yet.
I like the feet, they are very small and there are 5 instead of the usual 4 for extra smooth sliding. The fact that they are so small will save on the expensive teflon feet tape too :)
The mouse is very light, I really cannot find anything bad to say about it. The only thing in question in my book is how long it will last and it seems built well so I expect to be happy a while :) Highly recommended.
Customer Review: An excellent mouse! Great performance! Summary: 5 Stars
Logitech really do a good job on MX510. The performance of the mouse is excellent. It's very precise. It's great for people who like to play games and design graphics. Moreover, the mouse has a very good design. It's very comfortable. All five additional keys are extremely useful and save you a lot of time to movie the mouse to the back button or task bar.
I have tried different type and brand of mouses. Logitech mouse is the best. It's a lot better than Microsoft mouse especially on functionality and comfortableness. However, this mouse is designed for right hand people. It might not fit for you if you are left hander.
If you haven't tried this, you should try it. You won't regret this.
Customer Review: Still going strong! Summary: 5 Stars
I ordered this item back in 2005 and am still very pleased with it! Works very well, no maintenance like the mice with the 'ball' in the bottom. LOVE the wheel scroller! If you can get past the fact that the buttons on the side (back and forward buttons) are easy to hit unintentionally, it's a great mouse. Fits my hand very well, especially since I have carpal tunnel. Angled well so as to be comfortable to use. I've had no need for the gel wrist rest that I had to use with my former mouse. Looks nice, too!
I'm strongly considering purchasing another to use in my office at work, even at my own expense. :) After using this one so long, I absolutely HATE to use a 'regular' mouse. LOL
Customer Review: Works perfect on Mac OX 10.3.6, including all buttons Summary: 5 Stars
Bar none, the best mouse I ever owned. We run a total Macintosh office, and even with the latest 10.3.6, this mouse and its Logitech software are flawless. I have the two best Exposé features (tile all windows, and clear screen) put to two of the buttons. In Safari, I have two other buttons for the back and forward functions. The optical laser is very smooth. I paid well over the fifty original retail for this thing, so at this price, you gotta get it.
By the way, I was using cordless mice before this (Intellimouse and the Logitech cordless). After using this, I can say that I much prefer a corded mouse, especially once they make one this smooth.
