Customer Review: Excellent Mic For Noiseless Recording & High Voices

I am a podcaster and use this mic for all my episodes. I've been podcasting since 2007 and have used this mic the most, with the most success. Some say it is too low tech, but for me it's excellent. I've used it on PC and laptop. This mic is NOT a USB mic and is easy to transport and plug in and out of different systems without a lot of gear. It DOES NOT have batteries that need changing or a 50-pound stand to mess with. My recording area is very noisy and no matter what I do... the higher power mics pick up way too much street noise. I also have a high voice and the higher powered mics make it sound even higher. This mic is perfect for any sort of recording - except music. When singing, it does cut in and out. For talking... there is no such issue. I have several of these and have only had to replace one once because I accidentally dropped it at a high distance onto a tile surface. This mic is a must buy for anyone just starting out or for those of you living in metro areas. Happy recording!
