Like a lot of things this sounds OK if you dont have anything to compare it to. I bought this because its widely available at a dirt cheap price and the concave metal-looking drivers give it a modern look. I bought a lot of budget speakers in the past and still have a few laying around. I compared a Creative 2.1 setup that usually cost $50, which I got over a year ago for almost half that price. I was surprised how much better it was compared to the Logitech. The logitech lacked highs and sounded flat compared to the Creative which was a two-way (tweeter and midrange drivers), the maximum volume was far lower and the subwoofer was extremely weak and the subwoofer is one of the worst Ive ever seen ona budget system. It was dramatically inferior to the Creative. If you can find one of the Creatives or Logitechs in the higher ranges on sale, I would recommend avoiding these speakers, but if you cant find an alternative in this price range, then I suppose its OK for the price.
