Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech Harmony Xbox 360 RemoteCustomer Review: The Best $75.00 I ever spent Summary: 5 Stars
I got the remote yesterday when I got home from work. aside from having to use a chainsaw to get into the package i have nothing but good things to say about this remote.
the instructions were easy to follow and it took about 15 mins to be up and running. i tested it out several times and the tv function wasnt working so i hit help and tried again and it worked. then the remote asked me if this fixed it. i said yes and it works perfect now.
When i replace my TV and DVD player and add a stereo i will reprogram the remote and now that i know how easy it is i wont second guess the process and it will only take about 2 mins to set up. it took the most time finding the model #'s on the products.
I have never spent more than $10 on a universal remote. but i decided it was time to take the plunge and get an expensive one, and man did i make the right choice with this remote.
I am on on-line shopper and this is the first review i have ever written on a product.
I LOVE THIS REMOTE!!! and hopefully, you will too.
Customer Review: Great solution if you have an xBox 360 Summary: 5 Stars
Setting up this remote was a painless user experience. I plugged it in, let the Logitech software download the latest firmware, input the list of brands and models of the equipment I have, the software suggested a list of activities, and less than five minutes later everything just worked.
I did the configuration on a Macintosh - a lot of times vendors deliver poorly written software for the Mac, but the Logitech software for this remote didn't suck. They also included the USB cable needed to program it, and since the packaging allows you to press a button and see a demo, they included a second set of batteries to ensure you didn't end up with a dead set.
I picked this because I wanted to be able to control my xBox 360, but it also works with my Apple TV.

Customer Review: This Remote Rocks! Summary: 5 Stars
WOW! With the Logitech remote I can control everything I own. A brand new digital HD receiver from Comcast, Xbox 360, TV, and a 92' Pioneer stereo receiver. The software from Logitech is a breeze to setup via the USB cable. When you use the Activity button you can watch TV or DVD, play Music or what ever your fancy might be. You can specify that you want the volume to be controlled by your receiver for the stereo, the channels up and down for the Comcast receiver or what ever setup you might have.
The best thing about the remote is the Wife absolutely loves it and has no problems going back and forth from Netflix on the Xbox to using the Media Center, or flipping back to the TV mode and watching Food Network. The other great thing I like is if something didn't turn on, you can click the help button and it will turn on the device or ask you questions about whats not working and it always fixes what ever device is not on or even TV Input being wrong. The only complaint I have with the Logitech is it doesn't have a bottle opener built in :D
Customer Review: This remote rules!! Summary: 5 Stars
I could not possibly say enough good things about this remote.
It is marketed as just a remote capable of controlling your XBOX 360. It isn't. It is a sleek, solid, highly-functional universal remote.
I have it controlling my TV, A/V reciever, PVR, DVD, CD Player, Bedroom TV, Bedroom DVD, and XBOX.
It was MUCH easier to program than i assumed it would be. The PC software is user-friendly and guides you pretty much step-by-step thru the whole process. It is fully customizable.
The coolest feature about Logitech's new remotes are the "Activity" feature. It allows you to, for example, push the "Watch DVD" button. Your entire system will then turn on/change for you to watch a DVD. Your TV will change inputs, your dvd player will turn on, your AV reciever will change to the appropriate setting, everything else will shut off. You could even program it to have the tray open up waiting for you to put the dvd in. It's sick.
Throw all your other remotes in a drawer.
Customer Review: Excellent Remote! The "soft" buttons are extremely customizable. Summary: 5 Stars
This is a very useful remote. It can learn any IR code as long as you have a remote to teach it with (i.e. the original remote). The built in LCD screen is very useful because you can use customized text for all functions which allows the remote to be very personalized. Using the software that is packaged with the remote, it syncs to your computer using USB and uploads/downloads any new commands you have programmed into it. The only downside to the remote (one that you will find with ALL universal remotes) is that the device profiles that can be downloaded for it are not very customized and don't include many advanced functions, so it will take several hours work to get the remote in a perfectly customized state. I definitely recommend this remote whether or not you own an Xbox 360. The extra Xbox specific buttons as well as ALL of the "hard" buttons can also be programmed to control whatever you'd like. All in all, this is a near-perfect remote, I just wish it had Bluetooth to communicate with the PlayStation 3 :(.
