This extender was easy to set up and corrected the problem I was having with my Logitech Harmony 1000 that required too precise aiming for the IR sensors in two components in my home theater system. I use it with Harmony 1000. Logitech Harmony 1000 is great concept, not cheap at all but it freezes and looses response on touch screen.
