Having used the Logitech Driving Force for a number of years, the new G25 is a great step forward in driving realism. The G25 keeps the precise steering of its predecessors, as well as adding a bit more steering resistance. This helps in giving a precise feel as to when the wheel is centered.
The clutch and 6-speed H-shifter is what I've been looking in steering wheels for years. The three pedals each have different levels of resistance. The shifter is a bit light in the shifts, though, but it does get the job done. My only other wish is that the steering wheel could have more buttons, so I wouldn't have to reach over to the shifter console as much. That aside, this is a great set and worth the price, if you're looking for a touch more realism than the average steering wheel.

my first wheel was, till now, my favorite wheel. it was a microsoft wingman. then i bought a black momo when the dog ate the cords through a now, non-produced wingman. black momo is definately a solid wheel, it just took me some adjustment. however, the g25 puts all others to rest. the pedals are awesome, although it took me sometime to get used to the stiffness of the brake. the gas is dead on as is the clutch. the wheel is bigger than the other two wheels i've had. all wrapped in leather. the buttons on the gearshift are exactly what you need and the shifter itself is awesome. the adjustments to the wheel through the profiler are as standard as the momo from what i find. but you can definately get it the way you want it. BUY THIS WHEEL if your a sim racer.Customer Review: Adds a great effect

This wheel is amazing. I got this to complete my racing setup. I like GT4 so I ran this wheel to my PS2 and attached it to an EVO playseat. I added a Butt Kicker to the rig and what a difference. I have this all hooked up to a surround system and showing on a 42" LCD. This combo puts you so into the race it is like you are truly there. The wheel bolts to the seat so it does not move! The controls are great. The seat does not have an attachment for the shifter so you will have to come up with some other way to use it if you want to shift with it instead of the paddle shifters. All in all the feed back is amazing and it feels so real you find yourself leaning and flinching as you play. It cost a few $$ but it was well worth it to finish off a great play system.Customer Review: Must have if you are a racing sim fan

This wheel/pedal combo is like no other. The feel of the wheels, the pedals, and the feedback system are top notch. The G25 is very easy to setup, and if you are up for the challenge, to modify. The Cd contains blueprints and templates of the components so you can take them apart and modify placement to suit you. I've taken apart the pedals, placed them on a sheet of metal on my rig and "inverted" them so they hang just like the pedals in your regular car. Setting this up was pretty easy using the templates included.
My only complaint would be that the h-gate shifter is a bit weak. If there was a way to strengthen up the "feel" it would send this already solid package into the stratosphere. The feel of the shifter in sequential mode is fine though.

Considering the Logitech website states that this product isn't available until Oct.31st, I don't know why people are ancy. Mine came 3 weeks ahead of Amazon's estimate.
ANYWAY... Phenomenal build quality, largest diameter wheel available, and sturdy pedal base are among the highlights. The shifter unit feels flimsy, but as long as you don't overdo it, it should last. Its still just cool enough that they were able to pack in a gated shifter with a sequential option. I've played rFactor, GTR2 and Richard Burns Rally with the wheel and the feedback is awesome. GTR2 probably does it the best. If you're ready to step up from consumer wheels, and you can't afford the prosumer BRD and ECCI stuff, I don't think you'd be disappointed with this.
