Customer Review: Best gaming wheel ever

Ever since I got this wheel in early January (it is now May), I can't stop playing GTR2. It is really a joy to use. Thanks to the 3 pedal setup, I now know how to heel-and-toe like a pro. The pedals are pretty realistically weighted; the brake pedal is the hardest to press, the clutch second hardest, and the throttle feels like - a throttle. The wheel feedback is so strong that my shoulders can actually get sore. The only downside is when the shifter is in the conventional "H" pattern mode, shifter feedback is totally unrealistic. It is virtually impossible to antipate if a shift will land in the 1st, 3rd, or 5th gate, or similarly in the 2nd, 4th, or 6th gate unless you shift slowly and deliberately. But such slow shifting is uncompetitive. Fortunately, sequential shift mode works very well, and staying with realism, corresponds to that fact that most GT's have sequential shifting anyway.
If you can afford the bucks, there is no better gaming wheel.

I have been driving with this wheel for just over a month now and I could not be happier. I have used the wheel in Race 07, GTR Evolution, Rfactor, and NetKar Pro. The wheel performs flawlessly. You can find recommended wheel set up guidelines for all of these games on the web and within the forums. I have used this wheel more than 30 hours since I got it.
The wheel came packaged well and was in excellent condition upon receipt. It took me about 45 minutes to get it up and in racing form. I could have been up faster but I chose to read the instructions after plugging it in... lol. Read the instructions, you'll be up and running quickly. This is my 4th wheel in about 8 years. I have had a red momo, a black momo, and now this wheel. Hands down, this is the best wheel you can get for the money. If you like to hot lap, or compete online this is a must have device!

I have owned this now for over a month and it has just been the best and most fun thing I have ever owned for my computer. The only down sides that I have with it is the clamps. They are plastic and don't really do a good job with my desk. I had to find a peice of wood use the plastic clamps to clamp it to the wood then use C-clamps to clamp it to my desk, not a big deal but for $250+ you would think they would of come up with a better way to mount it.
The force feedback is really strong so if you haven't used the wheel before keep it on low, otherwise it will break your wrists. All around good design, feels great in the hands, and the shifter is quite amazing. Petals feel realistic, but the paddle shifters really need to stay still... If you have the wheel on 900 degree turning you often forget which one is the up shift and which one is the down shift.

this was my first steering wheel ever, i could've just got anything with gas and a brake, but I am into racing, and i wanted the 6 speed and the clutch and all that fancy stuff. I didn't even think the G25 would be that good, it's simply amazing, it wasn't even expensive for what it does. the feedback force is simply as realistic as it gets, I can simply say amazing all day and it would'nt be enough, 5 stars. if you have a racing game, dont be silly playing with the keyboard like i did, i didn't know the real fun of racing games untill i got hold of the g25. worth every penny. the only thing, i think you should watch for is that if you dont have a place to hook it, it could be tricky, and no fun. so make sure you have a good spot for it and you're all set for an amazing experience. Cause it ain't racing untill you get the G25 steering wheel.Customer Review: OMG!

If you're into driving games like I am then this is a must have item. Sure it's expensive. But this device really gives you control that you just can't get from a gamepad or other steering wheel. I used to have a Thrustmaster steering wheel and this thing FULLY blows it away. The only gripe I have is setting it up with the rFactor game that comes with it. It's virtually impossible! After a lengthy internet search I found a custom config file that had all the settings for me. If not for that file, there would be no way I could configure the controller for that game. It's really that hard. I don't blame Logitech though, I blame the rFactor developers. It works perfectly with GT Legends and only took a few minutes to configure for that game. If you can afford it, get it. You won't be disappointed.
