I play World of Warcraft and have 2 of the older versions of the G15. I don't have the newer version and don't want one after looking at the specs. The older version has 18 programable or bindable keys on the left side of the keyboard (which is what makes it larger). I use all 18 of these keys and could use several more. The fact that the newer version only has 6 programable keys and that other makes/models have the programable keys on the right side of the keyboard (most people use their mouse with their right hand), completely negates the usefullness of even having a "gaming" keyboard. Some designs are better left alone, and in my opinion, this was one of them. I've had my older G15s for about 2 years now and they still work great.Customer Review: FAIL!

Keyboard was ok for about a year, but then 2 of the keys stopped working, TAB and G11 don't work anymore. Pwnd a lot of n00bs with it, but this board is worthless now. Most keyboards last 3 to 5 years easy, and since this keyboard is "teh gey" after one year I just can't recommend buying it.
I will say my Logitech G5 laser mouse still pwns, but just can't recommend the keyboard. Get a different brand. Peace, and keep gaming!

Hey if you are a true gamer then this is the keyboard for you my friend.I dominate at the Lan Party each sunday ! Also i can now play at night easy with this , and the LCD is very cool when playing games that are compatible with it because it gives you live stats. make sure you buy this with the Logitech G5 gaming mouse they make a great team . But if you are not a gamer this is not for you !Customer Review: great gaming keyboard

Never having used the 1st gen version of the Logictech G15 keyboard, I've been nothing but impressed with my 2nd gen. I understand that the 1st gen had the "full" bank of macro keys, but to be honest, for my gaming style, the 6 macros are more than enough for me and how I use it. Its well laid out, comfortable to type on, and the backlit keys make it useful at all hours, not to mention the great LCD display for ingame info - highly recommend this keyboard!
