it is easy to install (as all logitech products!) the layout is beautiful, it is not too wide (the old G15 wouldn't fit my desk).
The macro keys are easy to program and great to use!
The backlight is a must have if you play FPS games!
The LCD is much more useful than I expected! I played NWN2 and the character's stats are all printed there, saving me the trouble of pressing C and having half of my screen filled with information just because I wanted to check my hitpoints.

This keyboard doesn't fall short in any category. They keys are solid, not too loud and the there are just enough G keys for macros. Anyone would have to admit that the screen is not always useful, but the fact that there's a community of software writers serves to make that less and less true. (In particular, the Miranda IM client's G15 plugin is excellent and very useful for when you're playing a game or fullscreen movie.)Customer Review: G15 Great keyboard

The G15 is a great Logitech product. They fixed a lot of the problems with the first one such as the bulkiness. There is no more flip screen and they changed from a bright blue to a orange that is easier on the eyes. Only 6 G keys and 3 sets you can save it to so it should be called a G6 or G18 keyboard if you ask me. Types great. This is second one I bought old version and new and I wouldn't consider a different keyboard.Customer Review: Owner of the previous version

I own and quite happy with the previous version of the G15. The lighted keys is what sold the product to me as well as the logitech name. I play WoW many hours in the dark so it was a no brainer. I will use my old G15 til the lights burn out and replace it only with this one. I only wish it was cordless. Not everyone needs one of these. The screen is a nice touch if you have something to display on it but don't buy it simply to see your ingame score board, buy it so you can see who is on Ventrillo or Teamspeak with you, or to see how hot your computer is running with out having to tab out of the game. The backlit keys are are wonderful and really help in a dark room.
