The quick and dirty: I had to buy a new keyboard when I dumped a full glass of wine on my old one. This one is great. Backlight rocks. The macro keys are all but useless. The keyboard is a bit thick so your fingers will take a bit to get used to it. The thing is a bit wide, too. The LCD version is relatively useless for gaming since you have to take your eyes off the screen to look at it, though there's a subculture that codes all sorts of things for it. In spite of being geeky enough to covet every piece of electronics known to mankind, I am still simple enough to actually want my installs to be easy. Installing this keyboard was a no-brainer. Its glowy blue keys are beautiful in the dark; which improves my game's graphics experience. And it has 18 programmable keys on its left side, which can be pre-set up for macros and keystrokes on up to 3 different games. The keys all have a nice "feel" to them. Really like this keyboard. I bought it for the lighted feature and enjoy it. I haven't used the macros because I don't play many games.If your eyes are getting a little old and you had to turn on a light type in an address,try it out. The lights don't show very good during the day but they work well at dusk into the evening.The blue light goes good with my Gateway lights too.Volume rotary button is very fast when you find something too loud. This keyboard is the best value for the money. This sturdy keyboard feels natural at my fingertips. The macro keys are helpful for work and gaming alike. For gaming, it's critical to have a keyboard which registers every key press, and this keyboard delivers. The backlight is pleasant and not too bright under any situation. Logitech G11 Gaming Keyboard
Wow, what a keyboard!
This thing has everything I needed and more.
Macros are easy to create, and with several profiles available, I can configure this unit for all of my needs.
My only complaint was that it was 1/4" longer than my keyboard drawer, so I had to buy a new one.
