Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech Freedom 2.4 GHz Cordless JoystickCustomer Review: All good but the throttle Summary: 4 Stars
The throttle, the throttle... Not only is the throttle control tiny, but in a horrible place. I honestly have disabled it for every game I play in order to keep my hand on the keyboard. Other than that the stick is responsive and easily programmable.
Customer Review: good product Summary: 4 Stars
Bought this for our 12 y/o and he installed it on his own. Works very well with his PC games, esp. a flight game. We purchased it around the 19th of Dec. and received it before Christmas.
Customer Review: YESH Summary: 4 Stars
I only returned this because I bout the Saitek X52 set. But while I had it it was a good addition to my FSX game.
Customer Review: Works well with Fedora Linux Summary: 4 Stars
I am not a gamer. I do like this joystick, it was very easy to install it in Linux.
Customer Review: Great and Responsive Joystick, but too Fragile Summary: 3 Stars
I think the title of my review says it all. This is a well designed joystick and very responsive, but they just don't last. I'm not one of those gorilla gamers who have to duct tape their joysticks down to a table either. I'm been through several of these and I'm guessing I get six months on them before they start going bad (as opposed to my old SideWinder 3D Pro stick which lasted for several years). The reason I kept buying them is because of their response, portability (no chord), low profile (doesn't take up a lot of room), button layout, feel, and a great driver which really allows you to tweak the sensitivity and map the buttons.
I quite gaming, but if I ever got back into it, the first thing I'd do is look for an updated version of this joystick.
