To get it out of the way I will start out by listing my ONLY greavance with it. The throttle is very small, poorly placed, and to loose. That out of the way I am proud to say I am very happy with it. The handle is very ergonomic. Movement of the stick is smooth and just the right amount of resistance. It has two more buttons then any joystick Ive had before and they are all will placed and useful. The rubber hat switch works great and stays under your thumb and the rubber base holds it very secure on the surface, It never slides! These atributes alone make it well worth the money So the fact that its wireless is almost like a bonus. Its amazing how conveniant it is not to be on a cord. This joystick is great!! Very high quality, well made. Haven't had any problems with wireless interference. My only concern is that this joystick won't last. My friend had a Logitech 3D Pro Max (basically the Freedom with wires) and it would not recognize the left-right axis anymore. He took it apart and fixed it a few times, but it finally died for good recently. I hope that taking good care of my joystick will prevent this problem, but other than that, I don't have any major concerns.Customer Review: Logitech Joystick Performance

This product went into service here about a month ago over here. Initially there was some confusion as to how the unit should work. A little tap on the face-button of the wireless receiver woke the unit up and brought everything to life. For some reason no mention of this step was made obvious in the joystick instructions. It has been smooth sailing ever since ! Evidently five years production has allowed the manufacturer to work out any previous bugs, that we may not be aware of.Customer Review: A really nice "CORDLESS" joystick. Cordless is your friend :)

I have used this joystick on my gaming computer and it is one of the best. I really like that it is cordless, we certainly don't need more cords running here and there. It takes 3 AA batteries and they seem to last a fair amount of time. If you're looking for a nice joystick, this is one I would recommend without reservation. BTW, Windows Vista has no problem finding the drivers and installs them automatically and they are more up to date than the ones on the CD.Customer Review: Excellent Joystick, better than I expected for Logitech

I regularly play IL 2 Sturmovik, and have been with a Logitech Wingman Force for about a year. I was really disapointed with the contruction of the Wingman ForceFeedback stick, sloppy centering, hesitant responce.Anyway, I purchased the Logitech Cordless Freedom 2.4 Cordless and have to say, this is a VERY well contructed joystick, excellent centering, seamless movement response even though it's wireless and ergonomically well set up ( if your right handed)...
