Customer Review: Gaming headphones that are affordable and work

I've tried several expensive versions from Turtle Beach, Sennheiser, and others, and all have disappointed for various reasons. Spending $150 on something and not being blown away, having driver issues, dealing with power cords, etc... sucks. I bought these head phones, plugged them in, and was chatting away, fragging people in TF2 without any set up whatsoever. I recommended these to several of my friends and they have been using them without issue as well.
If you want a simple, stereo headset that works, try these. If you don't like them, you're out $15 - not $150.

Plug and play. Works great. My suggestion is to get a sound card to go with. I use a Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty Pro. The mic works excellent. The sound is unbelievable in BF2. When explosions happen behind me, outside of my field of vision, I jump! They really sound behind me. Turning your head in game makes the sounds move so that every sound in game is directional. I can tell if someone is trying to sneak up behind me or where a chopper is coming from.
These headphones are very comfortable to wear for an extended period. A Battle can last over an hour.

I had a GE headset that was almost identical to this one, but my kids broke the plug somehow. I tried to get a replacement, because I really liked it, but they don't seem to be making them any more. I tried out a few different headsets, but didn't find any that were quite right. I found one that I was fairly satisfied, but a friend of mine broke them, too. Then I came across this pair, which blows everything else I've used away. They are super comfortable and have great sound. Playing online games, I have never had a complaint about my mic. Ive had about 5 headsets before this one and none were as good as this one. I am pretty rough on my headset and its holding up very well. As for glasses, i wear them and i found that i had an easier time adjusting to them because of the fact that i was used to something sitting on my ears. It is uncomfortable for the first week you wear it but your ears strengthen and they feel just fine. Just be careful you dont forget the Microphone's placement...ive done that while eating and it ruined the covering over the nicrophone. other then that this headset rocks out loudCustomer Review: Good...

Good headset. Mic works well also. Great for yelling at friends while gaming. They do not sound as good as some other headphones but they work great for being only 16 bucks. They are also durable. I break headphones like no other and these have lasted me just as long as any other headset I have ever owned - probably longer. another plus is that they are comfortable - They don't hurt my head or anything. This is a nice cause I wear glasses about 50% of the time and headphones tend to press hard and make my ears/head sore. Overall they are a pretty good deal.
