Customer Review: Worked Great for a few months - read entire review!

01/20/2007 I bought this headset about 4 months ago, and it is great. The microphone works well (Although I could stand it to be a little more sensative), and the sound for gaming is GREAT. I am a big gamer playing Halo PC and Guild Wars mostly, and use this headset for every PC game I play. I can hear the game sound clearly, along with those on the internet I am playing with very clearly, and they can hear me well while we are in the game together!
The only down side to the headset is that after about 2 hours of wearing the headset at first, it does begin to hurt your ears. However, after I used the headset for about 2 weeks straight, my ears became more used to them, and it did not hurt to wear them (although if I have not worn them in a while and go back to wearing them, they will begin to hurt a little after about 3 hours of play).
Update on 05/04/07: My headset now has broken. The sound quality and speakers still work well, but the mic no longer works well at all. The mic all of the sudden one day stopped working. The mic can just hardly detect my voice now (and I know it is not a software problem, it is the mic). It started a couple of months ago when the auto mute switch on the cord of the headset stopped functioning correctly (sometimes it would mute and sometimes it would only quiet the sensetivity of the mic). I think maybe the problem is somewhere in the mute switch on the cord IDK. I am going to call on the warranty (not toll free) and see what they say. It has been less than a year (still under warranty). I will update again when this is resolved.
This review thing will not allow me to change the star rating above, so I will tell yall that I now rate this headset 2 stars.

I finally got a hold of Logitech (very difficult to do) and they sent me a brand new headset! So I am happy with Logitech again!
