This stick was purchased to use in a 4-H competition running Microsoft "Flight Simulator". It replaced a Logitech "Extreme" stick purchased several years ago for $60 and did not use USB ports. It performed more accurately, felt "tighter" and had better "feel" than the older one did when it was new. Got this stick mainly for fighter combat sims, and in that function it excels! The build in rudder controls (twisting the stick on axis) is very handy...and with so many buttons all conveniently placed at the top of the hat you can map all your controls. No suction cups of any sort on the base, instead, the stick is base heavy ensuring that it will be secure throughout use.Customer Review: Phil's Review

This product is really good. I use the joystick as a contoller for my Microsoft Flight Simulators and it works really good. I like the eight way hat switch and the throttle is in perfect position for the flight simulator.I also like the turn and maenuverability of the joystick. This was my first product that I bought to venture into the world of Flight Simulation. It was the greatest thing that I could have done for myself in terms of that. Its great for begginers and last me almost 8 months before buying a more serious flight yoke.
This product is extremly easy to use and is very easy to program.

I've used one on these for years. Just bought a second one for my grandson. It is rugged and has all the features to make flying in Flight Simulator a pleasure. The twist rudder control is great and all the extra buttons can be programed for gear, prop, autopilot, or whatever you desire. Works fine in Win XP without included drivers. A great value!
