Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick (Silver/Black)Customer Review: LOGITECH Solid as Usual Summary: 5 Stars
I've had a Logitech Wingman 3D for 4 years it was great, but as everyone knows they will lose rudder center. (4 years of Flight Simulation is pretty good!) I researched most all the devices out there wanted something simple but solid. I didn't need the feedback stuff. So I got the Logitech Extreme 3D, buttons are in good position, easly programable, very impressed with feel and response. It may not be for everyone, quality is excellent. The guy having reverse trouble should look in the FS9 game under assignments/joy stick axes, they are more than likely reversed. The joy stick is not a smart device only sees what the game tells it. Highly recommeded by Sparkman7x7.
Customer Review: Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Summary: 5 Stars
I love this joystick. It's definitely a step up from my Logitech Attack 3. This one has more buttons and the twist feature. The programming software that came with it is the best. You can push one button and have a customized sequence of actions occur in the games you're playing. I couldn't really get used to the twist feature, so I just simply disabled it because I play combat simulators, not steady flight simulators -- no biggie. This joystick is simple to use with the software and I'd recommend it to anyone; plus, it's not expensive. If this one breaks or malfunctions on me in the coming years, I'll be purchasing another one for sure.
Customer Review: Great product at a great price Summary: 5 Stars
This joystick is the best I have found for the price offered. It has user configurable buttons so you can control different flight simulators or other games with profiles. Easy to use software to change the buttons and works well with windows for seamless operation. One note you have to turn off your Num Lock key in FlightSim to get certain functions to work on the joystick. The stick has a heavy weight in the base to make it feel very sturdy and not slide all over the desk. The response is great in default settings and are easily changed to match your style of flying. Overall a great product for flying.
Customer Review: For Vista, forget the install CD... Summary: 5 Stars
For Vista, forget about the CD included in the package, and download Vista driver from logitech dot com. Be patient for the 13.1 MB download, then plug in the LE3DP, and find that it works like a charm. FSX arrived a few days later (Deluxe!) and found the new stick, installed its default switch positions, and I flew the first beginner mission. What a change from my last experience, FS98 with a CH Flightstick! Rod Machado provides lessons, too. This is probably advice for any Vista hardware...

Customer Review: Very good joystick Summary: 5 Stars
I bought one a couple months ago and Ive had no trouble with it. I run Windows Professional x64 and battlefield 2, mainly what I use it for. I just plugged it in, downloaded the approiate software off the website and wallah. It worked like a charm. I get percise control when flying in the game. I can get really close to objects and has imporved my game 150%. Ive only had to recalibrate it once, because it was off to the left a tad. It sits on my desk nicely and firmly no movement, a nice addition if you dont need the wireless one or cannot afford the wireless one. Definately worth your money.
