Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick (Silver/Black)Customer Review: Built ford tough Summary: 5 Stars
I've had this joystick now for about 4 years. And this is four years of intense use (Microsoft Flight simulator, il2, Falcon 4.0 AF and more). It survived being crushed under heavy bags while moving to another house when it was 3 years old. Its fell down a couple times. And only now after 4 and a half years (which is really old age in joystick years) is it showing signs of its age. Two buttons on the bottom plate have stopped working. If I plug it into usb port 2 it will behave perfectly but in usb port 1 the both axis and twist are ultra sensitive. So your aircraft will make alot of small unwanted movements. So here I am buying another one. Not that I absolutely need one but the current one will make a good backup. Buy it!! lol seriously you wont regret it.
Customer Review: Great Joystick Summary: 5 Stars
I've owned several joysticks for pc's over the past few years but the Logitech brand by far has always been top notch. The Logitech Extreme Pro 3D arrived well packed, with a install disk, driver cd, the ease of set up was much to my suprise simple.
Upon installation and running my first flight sim game with the controller it took only a matter of minutes to set up and get the joystick calibrated.
It helds its calibration and I have yet to have to re calibrate it. The simplicity of this joystick is great also, plenty of buttons and it has a nice feel to it too..
Logitech is a great brand and its great that Amazon can bring the consumer like myself and others such a great price as well..
I rate it HIGH with 5 Stars!!
Customer Review: The Perfect Joystick Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this joystick because I was looking for a simple joystick for flying helicopters in Battlefield Bad Company 2 that wasn't too pricey but was junk either. As soon as the joystick arrived I installed the CD that came with it, plugged the joystick into the USB and it was ready to go. The joystick has a nice sturdy base so your not sliding around on your desk and the controls are nice and smooth. When playing BFBC2 I had to set the keys for the joystick myself, which I was worried about at first, but it turned out to be a lot easier than it seemed. BUT NOTE: the joysticks rudder twist controls will be inverted for some reason and you will need to look up a fix for this online (bfbc2's fault). Overall a great buy, well worth the money.
Customer Review: Superb Joystick Summary: 5 Stars
I decided to buy this along with FS 2004 since the price had dropped on the latter. I have tried FS before but always ended up frustrated flying by the keyboard.
Well I have had this combination for all of 4 hours and they are a great match.
The joystick has a wide base and does not move around. It feels solid and all switches are easily within reach.
I have not tried it with any other titles but I imagine it will perform well based on what I have seen so far.
I highly recommend this joystick with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight
Customer Review: Logitech Joy Stick Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great starter joystick for anyone who wants to play that Flight Simulator 2004, and hates using the keyboard. for only 30 bucks, you get a joystick with good sensitivity, great calibration, many buttons to configure, and very easy use with your computer. It doesn't slide of the table. Don't listen to the people who say it looses calibration, because it really does not. And even if it does, it does come with software that can recalibrate every button. This is the joystick to buy if you are looking for something relatively cheap and easy to use. It is more than enough for the average casually player. The only disadvatage is that it doesn't have rumble feature.
