Customer Review: Logitech Cordless TrackMan Wheel! First Choice!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

If you love track balls this is the one for you! I have used trackballs always. I have always been a fan of this trackball and now that I have one cordless it is just perfect for me. If you have a medium size hand like mine it will fit perfectly. The advantage of course of a trackball is that you don't have to move your hand all around like you do a regular mouse and end up off far from where you started. Your hand fits the molded ergonomic shape comfortably, there are two buttons and a wheel which can also be used as a button. Through the software provided you can choose what you want those buttons to do. The Marble makes this mouse extremely accurate and it just becomes an extention of your hand. This mouse is superior to its microsoft counterpart which was way too big for my hand and didn't have the smoothness of the Trackman Marble.

Customer Review: Love it!
Summary: 5 Stars

It might take some getting used to, but it's well worth it. I find it faster and more responsive than any mouse. Definitely better for gaming purposes, plus it's just more comfortable for a larger hand, which could be a drawback for smaller people. It helps me avoid wrist stiffness when I'm in a long stint of gaming.

The wireless technology is pretty nice, but the fact that it has to stay so close to the receiver is kind of a drawback. It does mean you can move it further around your desk without pulling the cord along behind it and that cuts down on a lot of annoyance.

It is not quite plug and play, but that's not too much of a drawback. Installation and setup is quick and painless. Logitech would probably do well to drop the price, but if you have the money and want an alternate to a mouse, it's worth it.

Customer Review: An extension of my mind
Summary: 5 Stars

When I first used this mouse and quickly became familiar with it, I knew that I would never use another type of mouse again. Since it is cordless I can kick back in my recliner and surf the net as quickly as I can think. No more stupid cables or being forcefully tethered to my computer desk, hunched over in a grotesque, moronish posture. All the while my spinal discs cry out in pain from the stress placed upon them like the outdated mouses of yesteryear compell one to do. I consider anyone who doesn't use a Logitech Cordless TrackMan Wheel mouse to be behind the times and in possession of a lower degree of intelligence. For those who have yet to purchase one of their own, please don't take offense to my previous statement. Get one and see for yourself what a total improvement they are over the obsolete designs from last century.

Customer Review: Great Mouse
Summary: 5 Stars

I think this is one great mouse. I have used it for years and if this one broke I would buy another one. I have had other mouses but this one is by far the best. It is easy to use and the best thing is if I want I can sit 5 feet away from my computer and use it! It is nice not being strapped to the desk with a mouse. It is a quality mouse that is very durable as I have droped it numerous times and it still works like a charm. It will need its battery changed every so often but it is easy to change. You will know when it is running down because the mouse will seem to get stuck on the screen. The trackball will get dirty sometimes and it will just pop out to allow you to clean it and the lens inside the socket. It fits in your hand naturally and is very comfortible to use. I can't imagine someone not liking it.

Customer Review: what's there to say
Summary: 5 Stars

I've used the cord version of the trackman for years at home and was used to using it. So when my office desk became more and more cramped I organised one of the cordless trackmen.
I do a fair bit of work with CAD programs, and after a while my wrist started to act up. Not so with the trackman where I have a more rested position of the wrist.
I am happy with this, but I'm also aware that not everyone is comfortable with the thumb control and that it needs some getting used to.
I would not recommend for a laptop though!
I plugged the transmitter into one of the rear USB ports on my desktop which is sitting under my desk, so all the cables that would usually fly about on the desk are now under it.
For a laptop, you are better of with a common wireless mouse and a little USB dongle.
