Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 with Vibration Feedback (Black)Customer Review: Almost perfect Summary: 5 Stars
I tend to like most of my purchases, and this controller is definitely one of them.
It's ergonomic, heavy (thus stable), highly sensitive, and has a nice feeling in the hands. Battery life is acceptable, and its layout goes well with many games. Basically it has what I want from a good controller.
I'd been exclusively using this controller (I had two different ones as well), until I got an Xbox 360 one. Due to built in support in "Games for Windows" products of the xbox controller, I unfortunately stopped using the Logitech one.
Unless you're going exclusively for GFW titles, for a different price range, and this is still the best choice I know.
Customer Review: Great Wireless Controller for PC and PS3 Summary: 5 Stars
Originally I bought this to play Guilty Gear and Metal Gear Solid on my PC. It worked great! The battery life is amazing and I've dropped the clunky thing on my hardwood floor so many times thinking, "Oh man! I broke it!" But it's actually pretty durable.
When I bought a PS3, I thought about investing in a Sony controller, but to my surprise, this controller also works on my PS3 Slim! Fantastic!
There are two downfalls to this product. First is the bulkiness of the controller. It's pretty big and heavy. Second, if you want this for a PS3, then fine, but it won't support games which require motion control like LittleBigPlanet or Heavy Rain. Otherwise, this is a great investment if you like to swap from your PC to console game every once in a while.
Customer Review: The Best Controller I've Used! Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great controller. The included disk is fine for Vista installation, but with Windows 7, it just starts working within seconds of plugging it in for the first time! The response is excellent and the range is great for my needs (less than 20 feet). My only complaint, a minor one at that, is that the vibration doesn't work with any of the games I have. The pad will vibrate when you turn vibration on, but in such things as the Lego series (Starwars, Batman, Indy), Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Battlestar Galactica, I get no vibration in game. I don't mind so much, though, as I'm sure that extends the battery life!
Now, if only they'd get to work on a Bluetooth controller, and there'd be no need to even have a base station to plug into the computer!
Customer Review: works for mac, even if it says PC Summary: 5 Stars
I ordered two wireless rumblepads for my macbook. I was worried when I saw that the package only listed instructions for PC, but on my macbook, they were plug & play. No installation needed. These work very well. I was skeptical about the performance of the wireless aspect of these controllers, but the buttons have worked 100% of the time and the response time is impeccable. The only problem that I've had is when using both of them simultaneously, the controllers have actually switched in the middle of gameplay (player one became player 2, and vice versa). This has only happened once, and I use the controllers frequently. Since now I make sure that each controller is sync-ed to the appropriate sensor before running any games. Overall the best gamepad out there.
Customer Review: Holy frijole, this game pad is freaking awsome dude!!! Summary: 5 Stars
Like this is the best game pad ever invented for us proffesional stay-at -home PC gamers ever. The game pad feels like it was meant for my hands sort of like the bossoms of a beutiful woman. And just like a beutiful hot and sexxy woman, this game pad starts shaking when I touch the right buttons, and that my friends ain't no lie! This game pad ain't gots no wires so you don't have to worry about some dumb broad tripping over the wires as she brings you a cold beer! The range on this baby is really good, I tested the range by going to my mailbox to see if my welfare check came in all while playing Halo and low and behold I captured the flag and my check! This game pad is hotter than hogs chittlins on a hot skillet, I highly recommend it!
