This controller was everything I hoped. Turn on the PS2, push a button on the controller, and it connects in about 3 seconds. There's no delay, or missed button presses, or any other connection problems. It's a radio signal, not IR, so line-of-sight isn't required. When you turn off the PS2, it seems to tell the controller to turn itself off automatically. The controller itself feels very much like the original controller, just a little more comfortable.Customer Review: Great PS2 Controller

I was playing Final Fantasy XII on PlayStation 2 and my controller was starting to wear out so I went online to find a wireless one because any opportunity to remove wire from the situation is a great opportunity. This controller works great. The response is crisp and precise, the weight of the controller is good and it fits my hand. I can't think of anything else that I would need in a controller....except for some turbo functionality. This wireless controller for PS2 is great. Feels good and to me it is not too heavy. I have thought about getting a second set for back up later. You can't go wrong with logitech.
