Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave SetCustomer Review: Great keyboard comfortable and works great with Vista Summary: 5 Stars
I bought a new computer recently and the OEM keyboard and mouse where terrible. I tried several keyboards and the minute I began playing around with this set I was sold. I brought it home, and it was an easy set up after making a couple of adjustments for the mouse speed, and haven't had a problem with it of any kind. I tried the keyboard and mouse at 6 feet away at my other desk and it worked perfectly, so I'm not too sure what the problems are with range. Also there have been no connectivity issues at all. In fact the install was simple plug and play. I plugged the USB transceiver in while the computer was off and restarted the computer. I honestly did not need the drivers, but went ahead and used the CD, and it automatically updated the drivers for the keyboard and mouse.
So over all my experience with this wireless set has been great and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a wireless desktop.
Customer Review: Works great with Mac OSX! Summary: 5 Stars
Just to clarify some of the feedback that this has gotten in these reviews with respect to working with Mac OSX: the keyboard and mouse work PERFECTLY with MacOSX 10.6. The Logitech control center that the keyboard ships with is an old version and doesn't install, but just download the latest version (3.2) from website and everything worked immediately. You can also go into the control center and customize all of the function keys properly. I was pleasantly surprised at how integrated the keyboard was to work on the Mac side of things; it looks like it was designed for Windows Vista, but even the keys that were designed for Visa (like the scrolling windows button) now integrate seamlessly for the equivalent (well, better) Mac Spaces and Expose features. Simply a great keyboard! If you're a Mac user looking for a good wireless option, then look no further- this is it!
Customer Review: A great keyboard and mouse! Summary: 5 Stars
I thought I'd have reservations about this keyboard but I read reviews that said just give it a chance. Well I took a chance and bought it. And yes, at first it was awkward. I gave it a day or two and now I love it. The mouse is great too but I'm still working on not accidentilly clicking the side buttons with fat fingers. The more I use the mouse the more I like it. I just have to get used to the side buttons which I am also begining to use more and more on purpose when I remember they are there.
Update:
I have been using this keyboard and mouse now for a few weeks. My new opinion? I LOVE them! I buy again them again with no second thought. The more I use them the more I enjoy them. Comfortable and well thought out design.
I'd buy it again. It's comfortable and has some great features. It was a breaze to install.
Customer Review: Ergonomic Keyboard and Mouse (Cordless) Summary: 5 Stars
Logitech makes great products. I have used this keyboard for 4+ months with no complaints. It has ergonomically designed keys that match the varying lengths and reach of your fingertips. It has a good "tactile" feel for the keys, and an excellent "built-in" wrist rest It also has a great assortment of macro keys which allow instant access to volume, CD/DVDs, digital camera, page zoom in-out, and page cascade.(I am not using the mouse that came in this combo only because I already had a good mouse. It too is a Logitech product.)
This product, including shipping, was $32 less than Office Depot's best sale price, and less than half what Best buy was charging for it!!!!!
If you're a serious typist, don't waste $10 - $20 on a keyboard. Get a good keyboard. Your fingers, wrists, and shoulders will thank you for many years after.
Customer Review: good stuff, love the feel Summary: 5 Stars
I do not have a problem with this keyboard; works perfect. By far the best I ever used. I am retired engineer Keytronic, best keyboards in the world in the old days. These are not the old days. This is a great product. I keep forgetting to put it my lap when I recline. Love it. Mouse is excellent feel, but a little heavy; 2 AA batteries weighs more than my old mouse. Of course, my old mouse sucked; I'm just arthritic. . I do not have the sensitivity problems with the the buttons. Recommend highly if you pay under $60. No more.. but cool product. Fired up right out of the box; software installation clunky. but it is ok. You just can't go wrong. Beats the hell out of the Microsoft products. Of course, I loved the old IBM noisy keyboards; this is is a little to soft for me. Solid product. Buy it; be pleased.
