I am so in love with this keyboard and mouse! Logitech has really outdone themselves here! The keyboard is bigger than I anticipated and has plenty of room at the bottom to rest your wrists.Extreamly comfortable,quiet(no clicking keys) and spacious,the cadillac of keyboards!The best part of all,NO MISSED KEY STROKES!! I cannot tell you how happy it makes me to finally be able to type at full speed without having to worry about missing keys! This keyboard replaced a wireless Kensington that forever gave me headaches with missed key strokes.The mouse is equally well made,precise, slim and easily fits in the hand.Another plus to note is when I uploaded the software it totally took care of linking the shortcut buttons to the appropriate action automatically.My last keyboard I had to manually link the home page button, email shortcut etc.(I use Windows XP)The beautiful sleek design and functionality of this keyboard/mouse combo have made me a firm beliver in the quality Logitech!!Customer Review: Love this keyboard and mouse

I have been using another popular brand of ergonomic wireless mouse & keyboard for over a year and it drove me crazy with the hit and miss way it worked. When it worked it was great...but after having one final meltdown last month while trying to finish a job before deadline (it is no fun hitting the same key 5 times to get one letter typed) I ordered the Logitech wave set. I was really afraid it might have the same issues but it is day and night above anything I've ever used. It was love at first type actually. I've been using an ergonomic keyboard for 8 years and wasn't sure if this would be ergo enough, but it's better! I was comfortable typing right from the start on it, more so than any I've used. Love the padded wrist rest and the wave part really makes a difference. I had one issue with the mouse where I kept hitting the back button by mistake. It's badly placed. It was easy enough to take care of with the installed software though, I just disabled that button. No more problems. It was a button I wouldn't use anyway really so no big deal to me. Not one missed key stroke either. I highly recommend this, so much that this is the first review I've ever taken the time to write.Customer Review: Great Range

I have a computer connected to my television in my living room. My wife demanded I get a wireless keyboard due to the long wire stringing from my couch to the entertainment center, so when deciding on a wireless keyboard, range was my biggest issue. The WAVE keyboard/mouse combo has worked out really well. From the comfort of my couch, a good 8+ feet away from the computer, it works like a charm. I am not even using the extender.. I just have the USB key plugged into a USB port on the front of my computer, and the computer in a drawer below my television. I'm using linux (Kubuntu), and it worked as soon as I plugged it in.
Other than that all the standard comments everyone else makes about the ergonomics are in affect. Its nice that the keys are quiet (no loud clicking) since I'm using it in my living room.

I found out why some people complain about the lack of signal strength. When I plugged in my Ipod to charge on the USB port next to the wireless USB Key, I couldn't get the Keyboard or mouse to register at all. When I pulled the Ipod cord cord out though, the wireless was again working from 8+ feet away. Hope this helps!

I was building a new machine and decided to replace my old keyboard and mouse. I have been fairly loyal to Microsoft for keyboards, and have only owned one other non-MS mouse. I wanted to cordless despite the horror stories that I have heard. When I was evaluating my options, this set jumped out because of a low price. I am normally skeptical when it comes to getting something inexpensively, as I would rather have something that I like or am comfortable with even if means spending a little more. I took the chance and have not regretted it a bit. In fact, my spouse wants a set for the laptop! I would definitely recommend this set.
The keyboard is solid, with decent key action, and is quiet. I can type rather quickly at times (100+ WPM), and this keyboard keeps up with me. The mouse has good weight and responsiveness, however, it feels to me like it is not as solid as the Microsoft mice I typically use. The programmable buttons on each side (Default back and forward buttons) are too easily hit during normal mouse operation, which is frustrating. The configuration software installed quickly and easily on Vista Ultimate x64 and is very simple and easy to use.

I have used several keyboards through the years. My taste is usually for a keyboard with a very low action (think laptop type keyboard). I was at a box store one day and needed a new keyboard to replace one with a stuck spacebar. I was trying several models, making sure to stay away from anything "Wave" as I hate the Microsoft ergonomic wave boards. I couldn't find a regular board to meet my needs so I just decided to try the Logitech wave. The logitech wave has a slighter wave component compared to the deeply recessed wave of the Microsoft panel. I found the typing very efficient. I was never classically trained in typing, I learned the hard way through over 25 years of using keyboards. Even without a license in touch typing, I was able to "feel" this keyboard. Another nice feature is that when I use this keyboard with my Dell D620 at work, the keyboard will sit above the laptop when it is connected to the docking station. it makes more space on my desk and is very comfortable with the padded palmrest. I still use about 3 other keyboards in my daily life, but I absolutely love this keyboard. The only think I need now is an illuminated version.
